Basque Players Register 2019

ALL CREDIT TO JAMIE BATTEN WHO MAKES THIS IS AS A SQUAD ON THE SITE EVERY YEAR

A list of players eligible to be signed by clubs/managers aiming to follow the unwritten Cantera policy of Athletic Club de Bilbao with potential of 71+ in any position as of the May 9th squad update.
A player is eligible to play for Athletic Club de Bilbao if they meet any of these strict conditions (criteria courtesy of @YagamiSandwich).
1) Must have been born/raised in the Basque Country (e.g. Iñaki Williams)
2) Must have been born/raised in Navarre (e.g. Raúl García)
3) Must have been born/raised in French Basque Country (e.g. Stéphane Ruffier)
4) Have Basque parents or grandparents (e.g. Marco Asensio)
5) Brought through the academy of a Basque club (Real Sociedad, Deportivo Alavés, Athletic Club de Bilbao, SD Eibar) or CA Osasuna from the age of 16 or younger. (e.g. Antoine Griezmann).
NB: Current Athletic players are included for those wishing to employ Cantera at other Basque clubs.
