Nurnberg 22/23
Aims
- Avoid relegation
Attacking Tactics
- Same as the previous season but I have more established younger players bedded into the squad.
Defensive Tactics
- Adding a left-footed CB to the squad allows buildup play to be smoother and possession to be held more easily when being pressed by the opposition.
Signings
- Kempf LCB
Singed in the summer window to add strength. leadership and experience to the squad. Being left-footed allows easier building up from the back and his experience in the Bundesliga 1 with a previously promoted squad will be invaluble for our avoidance of relegation.
- Mukhtar RCAM
Bringing in Mukhtar adds immediate first team quality at a cheap price, without being too old to grow with the team in future. Mukhtar adds quality on the ball and physical ability to hit oppositions either on the break or unlock defenses with the ball at his feet. Experienced throughout European clubs and being a Germany youth international he is an exciting player to sign and develop.
- Singh LCAM
Re-signing Singh on loan from Bayern is fundamental to the success of the Nurnberg in the German topflight. Singh adds quality on the ball and experience with the club. Essentially, Singh is on trial in the topflight and will be given the chance to develop with the team in a harder situation.
- Fruchtl GK
Re-signing Fruchtl on loan again is also key as he grows with the club again and shapes towards being signed permanently the following season.
Squad Roles
- Kempf
Immediately becomes the starting LCB to add a left foot and leadership into the backline.
- Mukhtar
Immediately becomes the starting RCAM, adding quality on the ball and physical attributes.
- Singh
Re-signing on loan and reclaims his position at LCAM. On trial to see if he is capable to playing at the highest level of German football.
- Fruchtl
Re-signing Fruchtl on loan as a second choice keeper who will be given chances to grow and play in the topflight of German football.
