You're totally right but this problem isn't only football related, its part of our society lately. But unfortunatly you won't reach this people with texts like this, they won't even read it as its a long text and they have the attention span of a fly (dunno if you can say that in english tbh)

Agree with you bro. Don’t listen to these kids. It’s mostly young football fans that are the ones saying this type of stuff. They watch one game and think they know everything.

Selective indignation really is the cancer of our time. People are only interested in quick judgements. Either positive or negative. Havertz played bad? Bad player. Messi can't legally leave? He's a prisoner. Ronaldo plays a good match? GOAT. Robben get's injured in his comeback match? Retire already. Neymar claims to be racially abused? Poor bastard! Neymar dives? Complete dickhead! Etc? Etc. I'm not surprised at all, but I just miss the times that this site had some opinionated and polemical users. Most comments nowadays are just rival fans calling other teams players shite. Edit: if you think of downvoting, don't. I'd rather hear why you're not agreeing with me, cause downvoting is one of the symptoms of the problem. I know it's easier to do that than constructing an argument is and maybe this thing is less black and white than how I'm seeing it, but that's exactly why I'd rather just hear from others what their opinions are. It's more inspiring than getting 20 downvotes.
