Very overrated player. Relies on his physique (strength and pace) rather than his technique which is mediocre. Also, his decision making is fairly poor, not an intelligent footballer at all. Picking up Ihattaren or Malen from PSV would have been the smarter move. But even though I'm not a PSV fan, I hope these players will stay in the Netherlands for a while.

Mou’s 4-2-3-1 requires: • A solid CDM, not necessarily a destroyer, but with plenty defensive awareness and ball playing capabilities. • A deep lying playmaker that can spray the 40 yard ping all match long. • A creative and versatile CAM that can feed the strikers AND link up in attack/touch the box. Ndombele doesn’t fit any of those profiles. He’s a talented player, no doubt, but he will only fit in a slow paced league where he can be the ball carrier from deep. I think it’s sad but necessary to see him go.
