The pressure is not the same man, the CL is the biggest club tournament in the whole world. Also, Sporting was the champion of a league who just displaced the French League in the top 5 of the UEFA coefficient ranking with just losing one game. Idk for you, but scoring 4 goals against that team is quite impressive.
avatar
Still, 4 goals in a CL match is rather impressive
avatar
Lad we're 4 games in and we've played liverpool Everton and man utd
avatar
That's not the point, we chant about literally everyone and everything
avatar
Tbf it's all tongue in cheek. Fair enough he gave it back 👏
avatar
4 games.. 2 against tittle contender, 1 against very good everton side, and 1 against brexit football park the bus burnley. not a start that we wanted but we still have much time to bounce back.
avatar
You've got to note we've played 3 of the top 4 currently

avatar
Not how it necessarily works when ur playing under bielsa
avatar
What type of elitist bullshit is this? Why do u need to join a team to play internationally
avatar
Another stupid American Man City fan who has never seen him play ;)
avatar
Ah yes, my favorite country. AFRICA
avatar
had us in the first half ngl
avatar
Diego Llorente and Cooper IMO But Llorente Struijk is also good, those two pairing where the ones that better worked for us
avatar
fickle fans will say so but he came in worked really hard, exceeded expectations at the start which then put a target on his back and his form suffered. Ultimately someone needs to go due to competition of places, Leeds want him, its a good move for him and we have a lot of other players with a higher ceiling so its a good move all around. ill miss him in fifa though!
avatar
It clearly is something you can work on, look at Bamford, Harrison, Sterling, ect. also experience and playing time helps a lot too. Let's not forget what having an actual world class manager can do to you, no offence but he went from average at best to one of the best, that crazy old bästard made Bamford into a England National player so let's see what he can do with this kid
avatar
50 m&m
avatar
He does indeed probably respect women
avatar
Sad to see him leave, gave his all for the badge when he was on the pitch, and that celebration after his first goal so soon after his father had passed away was raw emotion and pure passion in equal parts!! Obviously there were limitations to his game, but he shined for Wales at the Euros, and there's a few other members of the squad I would have rather seen us sell before him. Still, the demand was there, the price was right, good bit of business for a Championship player we took a punt on and proved he was prem quality, + props to him for seizing this chance for regular appearances. He'll shine at Leeds - won't have to play against low blocks all the time, and having taken a quick glance at his defensive stats (ball recoveries and duels won really stand out - 141 and 158 in 70 games), he outstrips Perisic's averages over the last few seasons (the same Perisic who is still widely regarded as one of the best defensive wingers in the world!). Mark my words, if Bielsa can turn Bamford into an English player, El Loco has monstrous plans for DJ! Best of luck with it all Sonic! (Quietly hoping we have a buyback clause for when you become the new Park Ji-Sung). https://s3a.sofifa.net/ce4a77ef7f751ccdb2076cf54e431ef4569539bc.png

> DCL
avatar
2020-21 17 goals & 7 assists minimum 82
avatar
Just saying his pace needs a massive boost. 4th highest speed recorded on the open weekend. He also only had 0.2 km/h less than adama last season deserves at least 87 sprint speed
avatar
U really just said ross fkin barkley 😂😭
avatar
Everyone chucking around 30 million just to have something to complain about. It's 24 million pounds
avatar
Funny how you both speak in each other's language lol
avatar
It's good to know
avatar
*financial problems for everyone beside English clubs and PSG. What a shame
avatar
Lmao anyone see the Leeds fan behind the goal rubbing his bare belly to put Calvert-Lewin off his penalty
avatar
I disagree. Having watched every minute of him here he's a class above youth football he's more than ready for senior football. Maybe not the prem yet but he's better than poveda and costa tbh. Demari gray has been the definition of average his whole career the guy is basically the new andros Townsend. Idk what you've seen of Summerville to suggest that
avatar
Wow, came here to look at his rating expecting like 88 or 89 and he's an 86 still ?! EA really have no idea do they hahah, been consistently banging goals across Europe's top leagues for nearly a decade...
avatar
Honestly they aren't bad. I believe it's Arsenal as a team that turns playersninto manure.
avatar
play well in Italy? overrated .. 82/85 .. bad first touch play well in england? wow! 88/90! Amazing player! Serie A continues to be underestimated
avatar
"kick and rush". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mtpGyfneok
avatar
yes even the best coaches of the world base their opinions on football on Sofascore.... (IRONY)
avatar
not even a question.
avatar
U gonna ignore the fact just a few months ago we literally had a new investor worth 4 billion?
avatar
Overperforming? How have u managed to make a world class manager raising a players game a bad thing 😂 the way bielsas coached these players means they'll play the same anywhere else. Just look at Phillips in the england squad for instance
avatar
Hopefully at least one approach in Scotland will work. Even mid 50s OVR players from the Prem and Championship who are loan listed are turning me down, even though I've just seen a Spurs player at Cambridge for example. I'll have to have another go at sorting deals out after I'm done with the 22 closed beta because I don't have a single reserve - just a first XI and a bench. Maybe I shouldn't have cancelled every loan lmao
avatar
Only just started my Harrogate career but this is useful thanks. Is it worth scouring Scotland for loan deals too? I've just made the 21/22 transfers according to transfermarkt in game so I really ought to send McPake back.
avatar
Welcome to amsterdam🙃

Leeds monitoring
avatar
I imagine they seem tired because they've been run into the ground to get fit for this season. Once the season starts they'll be ready
avatar
Literally only second to one of the best goalkeepers in the world Literally went more minutes than Gordon Banks without conceding Literally won golden glove But k
avatar
Yes, well done! Really happy they made the Olympic final this year after the travesty in the 2012 semi-final and consecutive bronze medals; hopefully they can finally get the gold medal now but playing against Sweden won't be easy!
avatar
Their baby would win the balon d'or with Phonzie's technique & speed, Jordyn's strength & finishing
avatar
Its not about being equal, its about making sure the game is playable. Male footballers are typically more athletic and skillful than females so if their ratings are done in comparison to Messi in Ronaldo, they're not going to be fun at all. Theres no career mode with them, or ultimate team, you cant access half of the game modes with them, letting them have decent ratings so they at are least fun to play as is not an issue at all.
avatar
Van Persie regen
avatar
amazing player..trust me she is class...
avatar
Ratings are inflated so it still doesn't feel awful to play. I support womens football but im not gonna deny that mens footballer is just better in terms of quality. They're faster and more athletic. But if they rate females based on how good they are compared to Messi and Ronaldo, its gonna be borderline unplayable. Ever tried playing as a league 2 team? It sucks.
avatar
Yeah this guy should actually be really fun to use in-game, but they've just randomly allocated him a bog-standard BTEC Mertesacker set of stats because he's very tall. Completely useless in-game except for CB in 4-4-2, whereas actually he should be pretty diverse.
avatar
dancing through the City defense! like a drunk uncle at a wedding
avatar
True. Sahraoui, Borchgrevink, Thiago Holm, Näsberg, Christensen, Jatta, Skaret and Dicko Eng are all promising players
avatar
Funfact: Vålerenga's manager Dag Eilev Fagermo is also a huge Leeds supporter. Nobody was more excited about the sale than him. When he announced the signing in the dressing room he spent time praising Leeds to his players. Haha
avatar
Not really. It's a good deal for both clubs. And Vålerenga have another GK who is also good, so I can't complain. I hope he succeed at Leeds :)
avatar
Goodbye. And welcome, Klaesson! Great signing

Its so entertaining Watching Leeds play whereas it's a torture Watching Newcastle play with Steve Bruce as coach ( He is statically the worst coach in EPL History too) A good coach is the best investment a club can make unless they buy a superstar player imo. Let's hope Bielsa gets full backing from Andrea&Orta because Bielsa won't tolerate bullshitting from board. I expect Leeds to challenge for Europa spots this upcoming season
avatar
Probably tbf
avatar
or hes just a year older and better
avatar
Genuinely deserves 80+ free kick accuracy
avatar
He is very good. Coming from a Vålerenga and Leeds fan
