Kinda hard choice because in his career he's shown a type of playstyle that our fans won't like, which will only result in a divide amongst fans. Tbh I've always rated Simeone for his team's attitude and how they're structured. People may criticise Simeone for his playstyle but I've always believed that playstyle is something that is only a consequence of the type of players you have. Even he can coach those players to play an attractive vrand of football but will that get him success all the time? Who knows. But he's someone who really wants to get results in an era of football where everyone is focused on style over substance. Getting results, while building for the future, winning a few titles, giving the youth a chance. He did all of this simultaneously. I don't think people don't realise how difficult the job that he's done is. Can he do a rebuild at a club while getting top 4 for a few years consistently while getting a few cups here and there, while changing his playstyle given he has the funds for it? I think so. Can he do it at United, with the scouts we have, the owners we have who can't care any less about the club, a banker running the club, and a squad that has no balance, cohesion and is nowhere near the quality you'd expect for the money paid for them? I doubt that, especially with the toxicity he'll have to face from the fans who'll moan about playstyle when they think they know more about tactics than a guy who's won a "two horse league" with a club that wasn't even part of the race.
