Maguire's value is incredibly inflated right now simply because he's English and of a relatively good standard. Prem squads have to include a certain amount of home-grown talent, which take up spots in their line-ups, so naturally, they want the best they can get in those positions. Maguire is the best English defender about at the minute. Leicester know this, of course, hence the ridiculous asking fee of £90m.
