With an astonishing 1,030 appearances, 810 goals, and 358 assists, Messi's performance on the field is truly unparalleled. To put things in perspective, De Bruyne, who is a remarkable player in his own right, currently has 209 assists in his career. If he were to match Messi's level, he would need to achieve an incredible 28 assists every season for the next 5 years. What's even more impressive is that Messi is just 30 goals behind Ronaldo, despite being two years younger and having played 143 games less. This not only proves Messi's exceptional goal-scoring abilities but also highlights his exceptional playmaking skills, on par with the likes of peak De Bruyne and peak Iniesta. In the history of football, there has never been a player who excels at both goal-scoring and playmaking to the extent that Messi does. He stands as the ultimate example of excellence, leaving no competition in my opinion. While Cristiano Ronaldo may be a more prominent celebrity personality, when it comes to football skills, Messi's talent with the ball at his feet is unmatched.

What a good joke calling Messi a penalty king when your idol Penaldog, camel dealer, is the top penalty scorer in the history of football lmao https://s3a.sofifa.net/7c5eff19ebad22ab7ef72622d3278e6d636c490a.jpg
avatar
He has the most non-penalty goals of all time

You just became 1 of the biggest dumbasses on this site.

avatar
He should be in prison that bastard Woman beater
avatar
Doesn't track back, not explosive on attack... shame, should be sold ASAP and maybe can go back to his Ajax form
avatar
What game did you watch
avatar
how bro still has a potential upwards of 82 is beyond me
avatar
1 star weakfoot 🤣
avatar
You should go back to the TV and watch his Liverpool matches because you clearly haven't seen him play before
avatar
Feel bad for him, created the most chances and nobody could finish them yet he did miss chances himself, whole attack to blame + him tbh
avatar
Use him higher up and watch The hungarian Magic happen
avatar
26 yo that already went from 85 to 79 is crazy

Go take a look at Aymeric Laporte & Robin Le Normand's case... both gave up on hopefully being picked out & chosen by France (the manager Didier Deschamps specifically) despite being born & raised there so Spain took 'em in eventually when playing for such clubs long enough to earn citizenship. The main irony being most white players who get to play for the French national team are still usually (at the very least partially) descended from neighbouring European nations instead of being bred fully at home as well if you will, lol... When black people are available in a surplus supply, white people are usually not preferred because most tend to be physically inferior relatively-speaking. However, with him, Spain was similarly already packed to the brim filled with enough midfield talents to spare (of course, no surprises there again) regardless of skin colour so he was deemed unnecessary to any near future prospects coming up ahead thus he logically chose the next best option around by checking his family lineage... not at all unusual in football (especially these days).

Croatia just spawning youngsters lately

Osijek is cutting costs as they just built a new stadium, so they have a very average and cheap team now, maybe 3-4 decent players. They had a pretty easy string of games and play on the back of euphoria because of the new stadium, but the real troubles look destined for them. Still, no one expected them to get past Adana, just consider that the difference between Dinamo and Osijek, or even Hajduk and Osijek is huge currently. Last year they went out against a team from Kazakhstan, while Dinamo was in the Champions League and Hajduk threw out a Portuguese team (only to fail to get past Villareal). Osijek is always, literally always bad in Europe. And again, I have no idea why you think that a Croatian talent like Baturina would even consider moving to Galatasaray now. It's a completely useless discussion. His stocks are pretty high and he's in the notebooks of top clubs like Arsenal. Not ready for them, but he's still young and talented and is constantly showing progress. Wait until he becomes a failed talent, then take a punt.

Another day another turk acting like their league is top 5

"According to the Greek public broadcaster ERT, five men are considered suspects in Katsouris’ death so far, one of Croatian origin, one of Albanian origin, and three Greeks." Written by a Greek reporter, 2 hours ago. https://balkaninsight.com/2023/08/11/hooligans-face-heavy-charges-for-the-murder-of-the-greek-aek-fan/ The only liars here are these two Greek inbred adolescents. They made a decision about who killed him without a trial or witnesses. Attacks on a 13-year-old girl have also been dismissed by Greek media and shown to be false, which would take them 20 seconds to confirm, yet they spread their tabloid-level hatred and lies. And AEK hiding recordings from the stadium, which will eventually come out, is another level of insane. As confirmed by all of the media. They don't even want to know the truth. It was a hooligan fight that both hooligan groups and the police expected. One hooligan was more unlucky than the others, including 7 badly stabbed Croatian hooligans. Who obviously got stabbed by little girls at 11 PM. Pathetic fanbase. Should be banned from Europe together with their hooligan club boards. Hooligans are the shame of football, but hooligan anarcho-nazi club boards are the shame of civilization. https://youtu.be/6Q9GcZC0r_A

Because... "Brozović will get €100m total package in terms of salary and signing fee — in three years, valid until June 2026."
avatar
Grazie per tutto Brozo!! We will miss you.. 87/87
avatar
For the FIFA World Cup, midfielder Marcelo Brozovic of Croatia has held the record since 2018. His initial record was 16.3 kilometres in the quarterfinal versus Russia, 2018, and was increased to 16.9 kilometres in the round of 16 versus Japan, 2022.
avatar
This dude is far superior to bruno fernandes. 88/89 somewhere around that. Unlimited stamina, amazing engine, extremely creative, quite fast too.
avatar
Bro could lose an eye and he would still find a way to assist💀
avatar
Man is too cold, he made 7 key passes in the game against Mallorca, more than any other player in the league this season. 3 G/A in 3 games. And all that while being 38 years old. He will be remembered for ages to come!
avatar
He also voted for brozovic. So players voting shouldn’t exist. It’s all a popularity and favorite battle.
avatar
Cry more man change your account profile and name you don't deserve to rep Jose the goat, your ball knowledge is actually terrible.
avatar
89/89 for life. He is that class of players that never lose his quality
avatar
Sorry for doubting you. Well played. But at this age, he really works only as a super sub

https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1761877570461569277 Modric ❤️ Unreplacable
avatar
Hating on Modric is not the thing
avatar
90/90 Modric is one of a kind. 95 at his prime. The best ever at his role.
avatar
Amazing in his prime
avatar
I miss the days of Atalanta raping teams 6-0 every game
avatar
He loves his club so much, dåmn. Just look at his twitter. He talks like he's a fan lmao. Such a loyal player, I expect him to become the assistant coach of Sevilla when he retires, no doubt.
avatar
He decided to retire for national team. Everyone here in CRO thought of it as a strange decision as he would be an invaluable backup for the team. I think he regrets it now.
avatar
Barcelona legend in my opinion. Maybe not quite as legendary as Xavi and Iniesta but he was still an invaluable player.
avatar
underrated
avatar
nah it was time..he didnt have final good years for us..he is the main man at Sevilla and balling there
avatar
I would disagree i think that our midfield as a collective was rated very good but raketa was always behind modric in every convo
avatar
Was underrated his whole career,in NT he was in the shadow of Modric,in Barca he was in shadow of MSN and Iniesta
avatar
what a class performance. very underrated player
avatar
Glad he's doing so well at Sevilla, Legend
avatar
An absolute legend. Immense player, he will always be welcome at Sevilla. It really saddens me to see him go. Such a great, underrated player. I wish him the best in the future
avatar
today football cries, a very important player from Atlético and legend of the Croatian national team retires
avatar
Thank you for everything legend, underrated full back in his prime, one of the best in the 2018 WC, shame it ended the way it did, will be missed
avatar
So what, some players retired even earlier, he won a a lot of trophies and decided it's enough (also he was injury probe)
avatar
He sacrificed his all for the national team, legend

He's becoming an agent supposedly. Even though I feel like he never peaked enough as a player, he had a decent career. Will forever be written in the books as our 2018 hero.
