man city and liverpool are way above the pack and don't look like slowing down. Chelsea are regressing. Sp*rs will probably be really good next year then implode when conte has his usual post 2nd season meltdown and doesn't progress the youth. We look really healthy in the mid-long term. And man u will be in transitional limbo next year but get good in the long term if they're patient with ten hag.
avatar
190cm, fast, good physically, 3 star weak foot, good passing abilities. Plus he’s only 21?! How come I haven’t heard of this guy?!
avatar
I feel like the smartest thing would be to sell him. Unclear role and with 12 months left on his deal, you need to make a decision; either re-sign or sell. HG, tons of senior experience and even some England caps, so you could probably get something for him. It's the best thing for his career as well probably.
avatar
Screams wing back in a back 3/5 for me
avatar
One of the most OP cheap centre-backs in CM
avatar
Not for me, he reached 91 overall in only 3 years when I set his development to mainly ball winning midfielder and then playmaker. He reaches 90 in next to no time in all career modes I've played.
avatar
I think for us to be competing in the CL spots with the squad we have is certainly deserves credit when you look at the high profile squads and managers around us
avatar
Just play the players in their main positions rather than making so many changes. And start Martinelli up top. Ramsdale Cedric - White - Gabriel - Tavares Lokonga - Xhaka Saka - Odegaard - ESR Martinelli
avatar
He needs to keep Cedric morale as high as possible. If he would doubt about Cedric and his future, Cedric performances would massively dropped. I am confident that we will bring new RB.
avatar
Don’t you want competition? We’ve been crying out for a solid defence for years. There’s a lot of games in a season, we can’t have Holding as 3rd choice
avatar
I mean sure, could be the plan but that doesn't mean that with Cedric as RB cover we're not quite weak for the 22/23 season, esp if we got CL.
avatar
Coming on free would mean insane wages, signup bonus and if it doesn't work it's going to be so difficult to sell him. I think it's a massive risk even tho I do like Dybala.
avatar
ESR is apt at defensively, but not positionally good enough, h is primarily an offensive player now. #8 is a hard position to play, with time he can be moulded into a perfect one though
avatar
He is so good in-game, so well rounded.
avatar
Got him to 89 overall on season 3! Superb CDM and incredible aerial treat!
avatar
I usually judged Arteta on how the team were progressing, and I think they have reached a good point now. So to lose my support the team would have to start regressing. Next season I will probably be harsher on results as expectations increase. It would take a tumble down the table next season to lose trust. On your first point, I think some fans with extreme views do not like admitting when they are wrong and adjusting their view.
avatar
Can't believe they are fighting to avoid relegation until the end of the season. Sad to see Eberl leave. Wish him all the best.
avatar
A rare appearance from 7RQ7 a welcome treat
avatar
When was United ‘reborn’?
avatar
It all depends on how much you want your striker to score, because as long as it works and you get the win it's alright. But yeah H/H workrates are definitely a plus, especially since his stamina usually ends in the mid 90's
avatar
Quite the baller if you develop him, great playmaker. I actually did a Portsmouth cm and I signed him as a free agent after Arsenal released him 1 season in
avatar
Dominates as striker in my CM
avatar
Is it too much to ask for to win this cup lol? Would give us a huge boost for top4 hopes.
avatar
Always seen him as Jermaine Defoe reincarnate, but a fair shout Dwight Gayle, yeah
avatar
got him in my hsv starter squad
avatar
As an alternative sure because Cedric and chambers ain’t it
avatar
His footballing iq and decision making is what makes him standout imo
avatar
If anybody is looking for a young striker in Career mode, Brenner is the guy. He can easily be a 90. He's a goal scoring machine
avatar
Both, but marseille has the stadium so i think it's more fun
avatar
Wow what a team
avatar
Swear every FIFA they start off with an amazing career mode team then it all drops off a downgrade cliff.
avatar
Career mode with Ibiza but you can only sign players who are notorious for their partying. Drop names below!
avatar
I'm not one for faveourit players, but I've always liked Ainsley and would love for him to have a future here. Huge 6months for him
avatar
Also maybe someone who's not only experienced, but can lead with example on the pitch. Most of our older players don't even deserve to be starters.
avatar
Ngl as happy as I am to see him leave, no way is he a rat. Very likable guy and was respectful all the way through his contract. Nothing but love for Heccy, too bad it never worked out, but it's way past the time to cut ties.
avatar
Conte would be great but only for short term imo. I feel that his preference of experience over youth might affect the development of our current talents. Ten Hag knows how to balance youth and experience so that's why I prefer him over Conte for long term imo. Campos tho? Heck yes
avatar
I also converted him to a CB for Bruges, he's a beast!
avatar
Calum is a good back up , but yes we need a starter
avatar
Norton Cuffy is looking really good. By the time he is ready for 1st team football hopefully Cedric and Bellerin will be long gone.
avatar
If we can't get Onana GET THIS GUY!
avatar
Would much rather prefer Woodman anyway.
avatar
It’s embarrassing that EA can’t get the license for the Brazilian league/players. It’s been like this for god knows how many years now and these lot still have the audacity to charge £59.99 for a standard edition of every Fifa game they bring out.
avatar
GK: Onana (5 mil) RB: Montiel (10 mil) CAM: Odegaard (40 mil) Let's just do this business and we should be fine for 6th spot probably this season and then take it from there next season. No point in chasing after players like Maddison or Lautaro or Locatelli who are extremely difficult to get. Focus on selling Kolasinac, Bellerin, Runarsson, Torreira, Willian & Lacazette this year.
avatar
The new ultra-minimalist bages in Ligue 1 are terrible (Metz, Nantes, Reims, Nîmes)
avatar
Fair enough, but he'd be a Santi-like signing imo
avatar
Both Martinez and Leno wanted first team football. Martinez was showing bits of brilliance at the time, but Leno had been pretty good consistently and for a longer time. So giving Leno the first team spot offered less of a risk than giving it to Martinez. Ofc now I think every Arsenal fan would want Martinez at the club instead.
avatar
Haha, one season we had Almunia as a GK. The next, we'd have Chamakh as a striker. The glory days man
avatar
Bit too much but quality player all the same.
avatar
That literally looks like garbage
avatar
This comment section is going to turn into a pit of shit wizard jokes isn’t it.
avatar
France and CB's are well known, but with Maignan, Meslier and Lafont they have a good goalkeeper crop as well
avatar
That's what I think he's doing but I'd rather him do that with onana
avatar
Okonkwo will be 3rd choice this year. Then needs to be loaned out for 1 year. Then we will see if he can actually succeed here.
avatar
Personally, I never believed the Maddison rumor. The deal seems far too complicated. I think the CAM file is not closed, we signed Lokonga, we are going to do Ben White and then tackle the RB / CAM files
avatar
He wanted a high pressing 10 who can defend too. Thats why he wanted to build the squad around Ramsey at first but then things fucked up. He didn't have anyone else to play at that position, dont mention Ozil. Ramsey was injured, and he only had Xhaka, Matteo, Willock
avatar
Lokonga is exactly this type of signing which I love and always loved the most from Arsenal. I have good feeling from it.
avatar
That was the biggest issue for me, and there were reason for the other things, but how things have gone since do make those other decisions seem worse.
avatar
The back half of the season was the only real issue to me. There were decent reasons for the other things like recalling him from Leeds. But not loaning him (and Nelson) out when Ainsley and Willock went was a huge error. And I would probably have accepted the bid from Palace. Hopefully they bid with another 3m and we accept.
avatar
Top stuff as always. Love you careers and work.
avatar
I can see how you won I really appreciate how you focused on French talents and French league talents instead some people who just bring in players from all over and call it a career
