I think there has to be a balance. There's no point keeping Poch if you're going to sign players he doesn't want. On the other hand, you can't just sign players that are only coming because of Poch or because they fill a specific role in the system. We should be signing players that Poch wants and are good players irrespective of the manager.

thoughts on signing Ortega? He's proven to be a reliable shotstopper, and is overall very complete in what he offers. his only downside is that he's a little bit short by GK's standards. I reckon he'd leave with a promise of starting choice GK minutes, and I don't think City will ask too much for him either. I'd personally sign him and make him our first choice keeper, keep Sanchez as a #2 / competition (can start the cup games and in Europe), and loan Petrovic because he will need the minutes to develop. I'm guessing that he'll be receiving PL loan offers from mid-to-low table teams.

Nas últimas três épocas ele foi titular indiscutível, nem suplente para ele tínhamos, e os números não mentem, foram péssimos para um 9 de um equipa como o Sporting! Entendo que até possas gostar um pouco dele, mas este ano á 4ª ou 5ª jornada ele já tinha tantos golos na liga, quanto os que fez na época passada. É mais ou menos a sensação que vocês têm com o Arthur Cabral, a diferença é que o Paulinho é pior tecnicamente, e tem um treinador muito melhor que o vosso, e mesmo assim conseguiu marcar menos golos na liga na época passada, do que o Arthur Cabral marcou pelo Benfica esta época. Por exemplo eu ficaria satisfeito com a venda do Paulinho por um bom montante (se for pouco também acho que não vale a pena), e com a aquisição do Rafa Mujica, ou do Cristo Gonzales, ou até do Banza, para suplente.
