Pogba is here but what I want is a big imposing midfielder with clean technique and ability to score.
This is what is most similar to what I have in mind but tactical instructions of the front three especially would be very particular.
CDK would play with loads of freedom and combine with nearly everyone and especially the tall scoring midfielder.
Colomboom would be some sort of a pivot but his main role would be to put presence in the box and score the goals.
Leao would be allowed to play his current role. He would not especially be the combination leader as CDK should be but he could go in those zones on the sideline where he could get the ball and play those crazy dribbles. He would also be the main threat on counter.
Tonali would bring the physical intensity in the midfield covering ror Leao for example and starting the counter pressing when needed.
Benny would play as some sort of a regista and would be our main option to get out of opposition pressing.
The Pogba/SMS type of guy would bring panic in the defense and take the spaces that CDK could create when dropping. Plus he would be the imposing presence we sometimes need in defense (in attack its different cause we have Giroud) writing this I wonder if an insane Prime of Pobega couldnt be that guy.
Theo would be Theo. The defense would stay high. I would prefer a tall guy good in the air instad of tomori maybe. Thiaw Prime could be it once again.
Calabria could help in the build up by slotting in the midfield helping Benny by proposing a triangle option with CDK or Pogba. I love Calabria when he enters the axis of the pitch.
Pressing would be no problem cause Colombo is a fucking animal and I still firmly believe that a confident and happy CDK can be a real pressing asset. Tonali and Benny have nothing to prove in that regards and the tall attacking mid would need to be athletic enough to support some phases of pressing like that.
We would lack of width tho especially on the right.
This is just quick thought I had today and I didnt even think about potential signings. But hell I would love it if the team looked like that and its not implausible imo
