Half way through my third season and I've had a formation change around. I'd call it a 2-2-1-1-1-2-1 rather than 4-3-3. Maguire and Stark have formed a solid partnership at the heart of defence and play well passing from the back. Sessegnon has played better for me at LW rather than at LWB but hope he can still be an attacking threat. J Lukaku is a player Leicester have been linked with and will fit in well with my system, Sessegnon picked up a small injury when I was scouting Lukaku so made it an easy decision. Pereira was recently signed by Leicester so it will be interesting to see how he plays. Ndidi is playing in a deeper CDM role and working hard to stop threats before they even reach the back line. Silva is the leagues top scorer so far but I've dropped him into a more traditional CM role rather than CAM, he still overlaps and gets on the score sheet. Talisca is a new signing so I'm excited to see him in action. Mahrez and Zaha have been pushed further up into winger positions. Mahrez is a player who I've always struggled to get the best out of in any formation, hopefully he'll suit this attacking role. In real life, as much I like watching him in a Leicester shirt, I think it's time to cash in and avoid any more dressing room disruption. I brought ASM in last minute to provide cover on the wings. Havertz could now drop into the CAM role and Aouar into Silva's role. Batshuayi was a break-the-bank signing in the Summer when I was looking for a holding player like Haller, he hasn't scored anywhere near as much as I'd expected but he has a great ability to pull defenders out of position and leave space for players like Silva to break through on goal.
