This formation allows for a slightly more defensive game -

The 3 at the back followed by 2 wing backs (can be used in 2 different ways either as attacking full-backs or defensive)

2 solid defensive midfielders and just ahead - a creative trio in Ozil followed by a striking partnership of Auba and Laca

I believe this formation could help Arsenal back into Europe and would help ease injury worries by using full-backs as wing-backs that can still push forward on a counter-attack so they aren't losing the likes of Pepe and Saka's qualities as attackers
