Hey there https://sofifa.com/squad/1365473 If you’re thinking of doing a career mode this is for you - here is my gigantic list of interesting players to try in career mode this year - ranges between ratings of 88-66 but most of them are in the 67-77 range. I should add that most of these players are not too well known (except for the 80+ rated ones). A lot of good players in here for RTGs or low/mid table first league teams. There are also just a few random high rated older players on the list that I think may be a lot more usable and very fun to play with given the new gameplay in FIFA 23

Very observant of you to notice my very observant observations

Dejong is former right? So he's of a greater ceiling than Neves.

Related to Jar-Jar?

Its not "VIĆ" but only IĆ. It is a patronym that means THE SON OF. So for example Jovanović means The Son of Jovan. Like in Scandinavian nations Karlsson is the son of Karl. Živković the son of Živko, Ivanović the son of Ivan.

Alright lad take a breather

Idk about him but I am sometimes ashamed to claim to be a human when people like you exist.

Made a shortlist of players born on the Canary Islands. Thought it was a nice idea to use players in CM with Las Palmas or Tenerife that are born there on the islands. Kinda like there are shortlists of players for a Athletic Bilbao CM https://sofifa.com/shortlist/111420

Always love to see a player coming from an obscure league and perform well

Victor Mollejo is one of my favourite footballers, because I also have alopecia universalis. I know that a lot of you think that it is okay to make fun of, so I would like to share my story with alopecia: I was diagnosed in year 6, and when my hair began to fall out, I was so ashamed that I wore a cap to school. Of course, this did not do much help, kids would always run up from behind me and snatch it off my head. I will never forget the jeers that I heard. I will never forget how differently my friends and peers treated me. Things were worse on my club football team. My teammates bullied me to the point that I had to quit. When you are a child growing up bald, that is the only thing that people notice about you. When you meet someone it is the first thing that they mention, it is something that some people will hold against you. I know that it may be hard to understand, but when you are reduced to just an illness, it is hard to be confident and even harder to find real friends, who won't judge you. This last year I was playing for my school's football team and I was verbally abused on the pitch. "Who let the make-a-wish kid on the field" "You bald leukemia fuck" When the match was over I broke into tears. I was fortunate that my mates cared enough to stick up for me. Alopecia has changed my life. It has been a long, painful journey, but I appreciate it for how it has made me who I am. I am proud for how much stronger and tougher I am because of it. If there is any advice I can leave you with: please do not define someone for their alopecia. We are all human and we all have feelings.

Imo the best CB in the world right now. He's complete. Reliable all day long, barely makes mistakes at the back, tactically complete, fast, composed, leader. And as a bonus, scores important goals. Brilliant.
avatar
imagine calling a 17 year old playing in a final for his national team overhyped... I bet most of his haters here at 17 were still afraid to talk to girls lol
avatar
Putting the words "VAR" and "penalty" into team names and player names has to be the worst and cringiest thing about modern football fans
avatar
Marvelous nakamba
avatar
Chukwunonso is the greatest name to ever exist
avatar
He might be better in attack, but if you're that bad defensively I would hope the crosses you put in don't end up at the opposite corner flag. Clearly you love this guy (looking at past comments) and aren't the biggest fan of Wan-Bissaka. Wan-Bissaka is 10x the defender Dalot is and perhaps not as good a dribbler, can still put in a cross, which Dalot could not do today.

Hannibal was the name of the punic general that plunged Rome into chaos during the 2nd punic war, basically it's a "history joke".
avatar
Should change positions to CAM/LM/CM, he has been playing increasingly more on the left wing recently for the U23s, Tunisia and in our friendly
avatar
I would struggle to see how anyone would give him much different than this https://sofifa.com/player/11267307/wayne-rooney
avatar
Different position. Kane is 28 going on 29, and Mason eventually will be above DCL, Bamford, Watkins etc. in being picked. Mason is more complete than any of them just needs some more experience at ST, I would have picked him for this set of internationals. But if he keeps up his form then definitely in October for the next set of games
avatar
go get therapy, bro
avatar
Wow I expected some hate since he's a Man U player but wow this thread is pathetic. And yes, I agree that english talents are always overrated, but this one is different. If anything, Greenwood is underrated. He's 19 and just started his third full season with the team. He's already scored 33 goals and the season's just started.
avatar
Yeah, I agree. Take away all my biases (that he's a young guy) and he seems like an 84 rated player. But realistically he won't get above 81
avatar
I feel a lot of people look at his stats and think he's merely a goal scorer, but he's not. He's a deadly finisher with both feet, but his all round play has improved so much since 2 seasons ago, almost always makes the right decision, drops deep to facilitate buildup play and is truly unpredictable cause he can go off either foot. His on the ball quality is so underrated. Unbelievably good, and I honestly think he's underrated because of his age Realistically should be 81/90
avatar
He was with a big smile during all the 90 minutes. He seems so motivated in a utd shirt. Exactly the opposite of messi in psg shirt
avatar
You can see the difference in motivation between him and messi at the moment. 5 matches of psg in ligue 1 messi started 0 and seems generally like he just wants to play ucl games. Ronaldo on the other hand starts immediately and scores twice, with a smile on his face the whole 90 minutes.

avatar
The man. The goal scoring machine. The legend. The APEX. Himself. Can't wait to see him playing against Liverpool(I know, I might regret it ^^)! xD
avatar
Heard Messi is keeping his rating while Ronaldo gets a -1 downgrade. This is just stupid considering Ronaldo moved to a bigger league while Messi to a much less competitive one
avatar
Are you saying 3 of the best CDMs ever aren't proof that French midfielders don't play well in England?
avatar

avatar
Needs a small upgrade in everything but particularly in his shooting and dribbling stats. 81/89
avatar
Hes going to be a superstar, 82/91
avatar
Not 88 finishing but 85 shot power and 84 dribbling seems reasonable
avatar
Not to be biased or anything but Greenwood is one of four premier league players to have scored 20+ goals as a teenager. This guy has a real future and is a generational talent
avatar
For real, his heading is that extra physical/technical skill that has made him top contender for GOAT with Messi, Maradona and Pele. Whenever I see a 'next Ronaldo' comparison, even with a prodigy like Mbappe, they might be fast, great at dribbling, brilliant shot, maybe even strong, but they're almost never even 'good' in the air, let alone world class like Ronaldo. In FIFA/PES etc, you can find players past and present that feel a bit like Messi. IMO, nobody feels close enough to Ronaldo unless it's some crazy career mode growth. Unique, as he should be.
avatar
imagine not marking Ronaldo in a fúcking corner. give this man maxed out jumping/heading acc + power header trait
avatar

Plays one bad game after being consistently world-class since Jan (even playing through injuries at some point). My god, some of you haters are pathetic
avatar
Make that 32
avatar
7 games left for him, he's got to score every game and in 2 of the 7 games he would have to score at least 2 goals in them to beat 39 goals. Highly Highly unlikely but it's football you never know.
avatar
Goals for Manchester United as a teenager: 🥇 Whiteside [39] 🥈 Best [37] 🥉 Greenwood [31]

Rolls royce player man wtf was that angle he scored from

4 skills today was the prove
avatar
this guy can score from anywhere in the box
avatar
His finishing should definitely be higher than his long shot rating.
avatar
OVR: 81 Finishing: 86.
avatar
Bro look at how he scored there's no way you can say this kid isn't special he's probably 82 rated now but ea will play it safe and make him an 80 rating.
avatar
Has been better than Mane since last season Liverpool fans ain't ready for that conversation tho
avatar
Talking about his finishing, this man even in the game when he reaches 83 to 90 potential you can only press lightly the circle and just score from every angle . Even with both feet.
avatar
Goal Machine. Very fast and lethal.
