Yes, for a simple reason : politics have no place in a sport like this, specially when it's to praise a state which started a war for no reason (except for electoral reasons for Erdogan).

could easily be 84/85, when he plays he's always outstanding
avatar
he just wants to be the starter at a Champions league club that doesnt play at a minor league. Valencia would be great

I'm not saying that Gnabry isn't a top, top player, but Arsenal fans constantly bemoaning that we lost Gnabry have short memories. They forget that Arsenal showed a lot of faith in the player to promote him to the first team at 16/17. He showed promise in 12/3 & 13/14 but didn't set the world alight. He was then injured for the entire 14/15 season. Went on loan to WBA in 15/16 and did absolutely nothing. He then had a decent U21's so basically 2 weeks of good football in 2 seasons, refused a new contract and forced a move. So getting £4.5m for a player who wanted to leave and had not proven his worth in the past two seasons was good business. The crazy thing is he probably hasn't played any more than he would have if he stayed at Arsenal. So I don't regret losing him. The club gave him more than enough chances. He couldn't take them.

hopefully babel sign another year deal

I don't think Icardi will take Edinson's place. Cavani is really loved by Tuchel and supporters.

100% agree. But at the same time I understand those people - because I was like that. I was a Catholic since I have memory until my early 20s. It really took a lot of learning and courage to confront the contradictions of my former religion... it was a real challenge. . I came out of it and became an atheist, but I know a lot of people whose whole life would collapse and their sanity would break if their beliefs were challenged the way mine were. Religion, for many people, is not just a part of their lives which they can get rid off - it's the foundation upon which their whole sense of existence lies. If you take that away too aggressively then there'll be a real danger of depression, insanity or self-destruction. That's why I think challenging religious beliefs is an ardous and long process that must not be taken lightly. It transforms people's lives, it's one of the toughest experiences you can live through - and it's different for everyone. . I don't know about this guy. Maybe holding on to his religion can give him the strength to find a new meaning for his life. Maybe it could be the other way round; maybe going through the process of becoming atheist could be the way for him to endure and vanquish this suffering. Maybe not even thinking about these issues could be his way. Same goes for his family. . I don't know him at all, I had not even heard of him until some minutes ago. I don't know what could be the way for him to go through this. I can only wish a suffering man strength to endure, arise and find a way of life through which he can feel happiness and joy.

I'm very excited, great opportunity to level up our football, especially against Ajax who has a young squad as well
avatar
Shit I’m kinda worried as our group is very balanced and unpredictable what do you guys think?

Whyyy ?! Why leave Schone ??!

Honestly, when we were linked to him in the winter, I was really doubtful. He was great for PSV two seasons ago, but last season, he just almost refused to enjoy himself. Although he is the type of player we need, I feel Ancelotti will have to work managerial wonders to get him excited to play again. There are better targets out there when it comes to fitness, attitude, and discipline. I do hope he works out well, however, as this could be a really exciting season for Napoli if we manage to sign a striker or back-up midfielder too. I'm also curious to see if PSV would invest in another winger, and who that would be, and how much he would cost.
avatar
Well you've signed one of the biggest talents in Europe. Brands at it again, you might start finishing above the likes of United. Congratulations.
avatar
literally was looking at this roster last week and thought "these acquisitions are good and all but Coleman isn't getting any younger and y'all need another RB". great business to get Sidibe.
avatar
I hate to say it as a Liverpool fan but Everton has done Great Business

"It should really be known as the Ronhaar Turn" - Johann Cruijff "I had to snort cocaine to think as quick as him" - Diego Maradona "I've slept with Miss World and scored from 30 yards at Wembley, but I'm no Bert Ronhaar" - George Best "Eric is King, I am a God, but we'll never be as good as Bert" - Zlatan Ibrahimovic "He is the Special One" - Jose Mourinho "He should be first name on the England team sheet" - Harry Redknapp "Who the fuck is Bert Ronhaar" - Arjen Robben

It’s been agreed that he’s leaving for over a month now. Dude even said goodbye to the atleti fans like a month ago and the club even gave his numbers to Felix. Obviously he’s gone and he’s been waiting for atleti to finalize the deal but it was takin a whole moe extra time because they couldn’t reach an agreement on the small details of the transfer. Why would he hve to go to training then witht he club he already said goodbye to, when he knew he could be offiacialy gone any minute now? (now it’s official) imagine being in his position first man
avatar
I'm so surprised about his attitude, not what I expected, he is really making an effort to improve defensively so he can play as a wing back and vs Barcelona he fought every ball and made the team step up a gear by himself.
avatar
MOTM again and received a huge ovation, he even was "forced" to shoot a penalty by the fans and the team. Failed it and scored on the rebound 😂
avatar
True, if he had our current squad back then he would have been more successful. I was happy when we announced him as coach and very sad when he was gone. The only one I blame for our bad situation in the league were our defenders. Remember that game against Gladbach, that‘s what he stands for, great attacking and nice football to watch. I hope he will have great success with Bayer in icl next year, but I‘m sure they will play good with their squad and their great young players. Bosz is someone who can make young players better and put them to the next level. I rate him way higher than for example Kovac or even Valverde.
avatar
So happy Peter Bosz got the redemption he deserved. Leverkusen is playing such fine pressing football. Believe me these guys will be one of the surprises next year in the CL!!
avatar
Bosz is a great attacking coach. The only reason he failed for us was our really bad bad defense that year with a declining Schmelle and a mistake prone Sokratis and Toprak. Very happy for him, he‘s a nice person.
