They weren't downgraded. EA made a squad update yesterday and for some reason (idk what it is, maybe a mistake) they released a new squad "update" afterwards that set all the players' stats and ratings again to how they were before yesterday's upgrade. So our players didn't really get downgraded after yesterday's match. They just went back to their previous stats before their upgrade again (just like every other payer).
