The previous formation was more faithful to reality. With a true CDM. There is always a central defensive midfielder parked in front of the defense who balances the game in defensive transitions. Plus they don't actually play with a true LWB, it's more unbalanced between the wings with a RWB on the right that becomes a RB in the build up, while LCB moves on the LB, and the LWB is more of a LM or LW. It's all about balance but the last formation was better.

This guy is the definition of a "Youtube compilation player". He's rapid, skillful, explosive and generally really good on the ball, but awful at finishing, makes too many bad decisions, his runs seem almost random, and his overall contribution to the team is just not good enough for this level, let alone the PL. It's really sad to say this cos I geniuinely think he's a nice bloke.

USA are making far better progress in sending players to Europe. Mexico has a long way to go and they could’ve been such a good powerhouse where European teams can buy young Mexicans from but sadly the corruption and the mentality of some players just puts a barrier on them. Garcia demands more running and pressing from his forwards than Genesio did. To be honest im a little surprised Simeone wanted Moussa. The biggest downside to his game is his work rate. He is honestly kinda lazy, and doesn't do enough for the team (running/pressing/hold up play). There is no doubting his class in the penalty box, and he definitely has all the tools. Maybe Simeone will get him in better shape and demand more from him.
