We got fucking Labor party in control now so unless the country wakes up and votes them out then we are going to be filled with migrants which is a real problem. Irankunda though is a genuine refugee and he actually accepted our culture rather than bringing foreign problems here.

Ademola Lookman was playing for Waterloo FC in the Sunday League in 2013. 11 years later, he becomes the first player to score a hat-trick in the Europa League ending Bayer Leverkusen’s undefeated streak. Incredible 👏 https://s3a.sofifa.net/53da6ff8a16cf566a9f69d7c3ec99e9aa6e551c3.jpg

The boy from Peckham, hitting a hat-trick in the Europa League. For years he was told no by clubs. Star of his Sunday league team yet no academy wanted to take him. A humble lad who grew up on an estate where football is all he knew. He would see his friends and others get scouted but he never lost hope. Charlton’s Under-16s were approaching the end of their season but, such is the nature of academy football, they had a spare week with no game. It was decided the youngsters would play a friendly against London FA, a side constructed of players from various Sunday league clubs in the local area, at the Addicks’ Sparrow Lane training ground. Steve Avory, Charlton’s academy manager, took a stroll from his office to watch the game. But it wasn’t until the introduction of a fleet-footed 16-year-old that Avory’s interest was peaked. He spent the rest of the game mesmerized, as his full-back was twisted inside and out. At the final whistle, he made a beeline and introduced himself to Ademola Lookman, a forward who had come from amateur side Waterloo FC. The rest is history….. https://s3a.sofifa.net/22c8f5137b3afe56c371807b170c00a9a7a6ba97.jpg

People aren't giving Atalanta enough respect, the obliterated Liverpool and Bayer in this competition, their organization and press was unbelievable.

much needed reality check for xabi. he's gonna win it some time in the future anyways, gg to leverkusen for this amazing season
avatar
So if they win their domestic cup it’s redeemed according to you? The invincibles didn’t win the ucl so I guess that doesn’t matter either
avatar
Nice troll but try again next year
avatar
Leverkusen went from Neverlusen back to Vizekusen again 😭 But jokes aside now, even without the EL trophy it's a very very impressive season. Invincible Bundesliga run and (maybe) the DFB Pokal in 3 days as well. Nobody would have expected Leverkusen to win the double or even compete for it or even the triple before the start of the season. Hats off to Xabi Alonso.
avatar
Still clearly a good team idk why yall trolling cause half y’all’s clubs ain’t winning shit either
avatar
They're still bigger than you dawg

Of course you need luck when you have 51 games unbeaten streak but against rome it was unlucky for us to go down two goals when rome had no chances and just 2 lucky penalties. Only retards from the premierleague underrate the Serie A. I think we all agree that the Bundesliga, La Liga and Seria A are top leagues and are on the same level
avatar
Serie A is so underrated. Atalanta tonight fully deserved the win. BTW your season guys is still absurdly good, but I got criticized for saying that this team was getting a bit lucky with some episodes, and the return leg vs Roma hinted at that. Almost bottling a 2-0 advantage at home and managing to get an own goal from the opposition on the 83'. Tonight I still saw a good team tho, which undoubtedly will pose a serious challenge in the UCL next season.
avatar
A good learning point for Alonso. No doubt he’ll learn from his mistakes and this match as a whole and use it to improve going forward.

Abolished trophy, UEFA Cup is still Europa League just rebranded
