United won their first 6 away games that season, and so many of them could've easily been draws or losses and all those first 6 wins were all comebacks after conceding first. I actually refuse to believe playing counter-attack against teams like Brighton, West Brom, Sheffield, Southampton, Wolves was actually effective and worked. Very calm, speaks well, understands the need for balance, maximises a lot of opportunities, very meticulous, works well with younger players, great for a dressing room. He isn’t someone who will revolutionise English football but he’s a good manager to have. People give him stick for not being attacking as England manager which I understand but we’re talking about international football, it’s all quite mundane really, the accusations thrown at him aren’t applicable half as much as they were when the narratives started.
