Both entertaining CMs. I'm in my 3rd HSV season right now. Realisticly both teams would sign the best players from other 2nd and 3rd division clubs. Also have an eye on belgian, dutch, danish, austria, swiss, polish and czech clubs. Get young talented players and some experienced key players. But there's one difference: Schalke in reality has bigger financial problems. And in an event of being relegated again the club would just collapse. HSV is in a more calm situation financially. So if you want to be realistic: Save money when playing with Schalke.

Welp. The journalist that reported Ronaldo's a done deal isn't reliable but it's starting to concern me a lot. Feeling pretty sad tbh, I've always seen Ronaldo as an idol and a legend of ours who always thought highly of the club. Great team you are building with 2 big transfers below market price. Just to get an idea, Barça paid 135m for Dembele who hadn't done half of what Sancho did in Bundesliga. I hope they honor your crest.

Maguire is a solid player and leader. Overpriced? Yes. But he's still a great defender and was instrumental for us last season.

Our squad depth isn't City-like but it really isn't nearly as shit as his plain refusal to rest several players would suggest. I think having a left-footed CB is good for balance. However, if you can't find one with the quality needed, then it's not a big deal looking for a right-footed CB, but he has to be comfortable on his left-foot.

Might get some stick for this, but I honestly think he is the better player of him and Dayot. Both are very raw defenders, obviously because of their age. I feel like Ibrahima is better positionally and I really liked watching him bring the ball out of defence a season or 2 ago when he used to do it more often. Don't get me wrong both are incredible talents, but I feel like Konaté have a higher ceiling for potential.

Still paranoid with what happened yesterday. United controlled the whole match the first 45 minutes. Played like a proper team aiming for titles, every player was performing. But now we all know that this isn't the type of team that wins titles. Finishing the season in second would be a real achievement for a team like this. The board needs to start spending money next season on consistent, talented players. We desperately need a good RW, CDM and CB. Players that fit Ole's system. Only then we can win the title.
