I wouldn’t worry about it too much. The Saudi league doesn’t have the historical teams European leagues do. They also are ineligible to play in the champions league. The absolute very best players will never go to the Saudi league. Eg. You’ll never see Mbappe play in the Saudi league until he’s in his late 30s and wanting a vast paycheque. The players that do go there would be mediocre in the top European leagues anyway. This guy will never reach EAs potential of 89. The fact he’s in that league means they’ve completely overrated him anyway. Being fantastic in the Saudi league doesn’t mean anything. It’s like if you’re a great player in the MLS. He would be a bench warmer at best for any elite European club. I’m pretty good at chess and I can regularly beat people at it. Put me against Kasparov and he would laugh in my face and the destroy me every single time. That is the Saudi league.
