I don't get why so many people would be glad to keep Barrenechea. He is an ok player, useless for Thiago Motta's playstyle, and that had an OK season in a relegated Frosinone. At max I can consider trying to loan him out another season to see if he can become something, but right now he is a mid table team sub level, nothing more.

Tbh I think I’d rather have £100M+ to rebuild a squad, and know that we won’t do anything for the next few years, but have a promising young squad that will be entertaining to watch.
