Erling Haaland is indeed a remarkable football talent, and several key factors contribute to his extraordinary abilities on the pitch: Physical Attributes: 1. Speed: Haaland possesses remarkable speed for a player of his size, allowing him to outpace defenders and make dangerous runs behind the defensive line. Strength: His physical strength enables him to hold off defenders, win aerial duels, and maintain possession under pressure. Technical Skills: 2. Finishing: Haaland has an exceptional ability to finish from various positions and angles. His precision and power in front of goal are unparalleled. Positioning: He has a keen sense of positioning, often finding himself in the right place at the right time to capitalize on scoring opportunities. Ball Control: Despite his size, Haaland has excellent ball control, which allows him to maneuver in tight spaces and maintain possession under pressure. Mental Attributes: 3. Determination and Drive: Haaland's hunger for success is evident in his relentless pursuit of goals and constant improvement. His work ethic both on and off the field is exemplary. Confidence: He plays with immense confidence, often taking on defenders and attempting audacious shots that others might shy away from. Impact on the Team: 4. Inspiration: Haaland's performances inspire his teammates, elevating the overall level of play. His presence on the field is a constant threat that forces opponents to adjust their strategies. Team Play: Although he is a prolific scorer, Haaland also contributes to the team's play with assists and intelligent movement that creates space for others. Consistency: 5. Record-Breaking Performances: From his early days at Molde FK to his stints with Red Bull Salzburg, Borussia Dortmund, and Manchester City, Haaland has consistently broken records and delivered exceptional performances. Adaptability: 6. Versatility: Haaland has shown the ability to adapt to different leagues and styles of play, maintaining his high level of performance regardless of the competition. Erling Haaland's combination of physical prowess, technical skill, mental fortitude, and consistent impact makes him a truly extraordinary talent in the world of football. His career trajectory suggests that he will continue to be a dominant force, thrilling fans and leaving an indelible mark on the sport.

Also one of Benficas values is that you must serve the club and not take advantage of it. As one of our president back in the 50s said: "Always respect the club's money. It's the money of simple and humble people. It's the effort of poor people who only give it because they really love Benfica. Serve it. DON'T GET SERVED BY IT." (Benfica represents the working class in Portugal, it's the peoples club) https://s3a.sofifa.net/7f023f0122a76fb98b1d29217315c6d22d4f5845.jpg The so called "Vieirismo" is killing the club and everything that it represents. This month that just passed by, our social media mentioned 0 times both our Champions League trophies in May(one of them yesterday 31th of May!) but they were so quick to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of our deal with Fly Emirates. The fans are also treated just like clients and the players have 0 contact with the fans, they are basically like robots. Sadly we are just a business company nowadays. Lots of our fans even call our current club by "Benfica Corporate 2003".
avatar
He wasn't a legendary player for us. For Fiorentina and Milan, sure. It's a long story but I will try to keep it as short as I can(and it will still be long but here it goes) In 2003 a cancer called Luis Filipe Vieira became Benficas president and only left when he got arrested for taking money away from the club in 2021. Rui Costa lost himself in drugs after his football career was over and also got a restaurante broke cause of his inability to manage. In 2008 LFV hired Rui Costa as part of the board cause he once cried after scoring against us in a friendly match and with that, he saw Rui Costa as a way to carry his legacy after he left the club, so he made Rui his number 2, his right hand man. Rui Costa obviously needed to become a parasite and glue himself to the club as his personal life was screwed. Vieira and their board also created a scheme where it is basically impossible for them to lose the elections(old socios votes counts as 50 votes each and the club houses can also vote) and even nowadays Rui Costa who is now the club president, refuses to change that cause he can't afford to go back to the misery that he was before he turned into a parasite. In 2020 LFV was actually going to lose the elections against a man called João Noronha Lopes(that guy had such a great project and would have saved our club) but Vieira, Rui Costa and the rest of their board put the votes in a car and left the stadium with them, therefore the votes weren't counted and LFV was re-elected 1 year before getting arrested. Rui Costa became the president after that and not only he was alright when he saw someone stealing the club and as he also has no qualifications whatsoever cause he didn't study and also didn't even complete school, he is doing a terrible job as club president. 2025 we will have the elections again, but against this corrupt board I fear that the only we that we can get them out of the club is if the police gets them all. 66% of the current board were members of LFV's board. The board also created a mediocre mentality in the club where for them 2nd place and no trophies in a season is acceptable, they prefer selling players than actually winning trophies. I will give one example of the money laundering that they did to give the money to agents and to their own pockets. We used to sign loads of "football players" from a Paraguayn SECOND DIVISION club called Rubio Ñú. (The last one is actually that Cerro Porteño player that yesterday made a career ending tackle on a Colo-Colo player) https://s3a.sofifa.net/a13a9d0906442815a1def948c01fa796df9f04d9.jpg https://s3a.sofifa.net/3f063cd9703da4dcf04522138240a66bb6f69225.jpg https://s3a.sofifa.net/15a5357e39a9bca70aa223ab0b6dce4493906a14.jpg

Since we dont play with wings atm starke would be 2nd striker but most likely he wouldnt play much, just a back up. Yes burkhardt would be perfect. Hoffenheim decided not to buy weghorst but they said the loan was a success so no. In career mode your Schär idea would be great since he can help the young defenders like Tim drexler, kabak and more as a central defensive leader. Yes benes would be a kramarić back up. 2 recent extra rumours are Jordan Torunarigha who was an exciting prospect 3-4 years back and germanys U21 Captain i think but now plays for nigerias Nationalteam, Really fast. Guimaraes leftback Mangas would be a back-up to jurasek when hoffenheim succeeds by getting another loan next year. I see borna sosa isnt playing much at ajax so he would be quite realistic aswell. In your first season try to buy players under hoffenheims record transfer of 14mil (payed after playing champions league in 18/19 and after a rather bad start to the 19/20 season with samassekou and dabbur and also this year with stach) otherwise its not that realistic. Also try to buy young talents for cheap and try to manage with the current squad in your 1st season. Loan Drexler since he could be important in the future since he already played 5 games in the st11 in the last 2 months, also loan the young exciting ones like bischof and tohumcu so they dont lose their potential (Tohumcu already played more than 10 games in the st11 this season so in reallife he's quite important now but he isnt even 70 rated in career mode so loan him in your first 1-2 seasons)
avatar
Vagiannidis, Skarke, Benes as Backups as they are current rumours. Burkhardt as a main striker, young players talented but quite cheap talents from France, Austria, Germany, Denmark. Former Players like Georginio Rutter, Schär, Reiss Nelson, Firmino, Raum, sessegnon, Baumgartner. For future seasons former players like Alaba, Süle, Gnabry and some more. Buy option for Jurasek. good players from relegated FC Köln, then Udoukhai, Tzolis, Sieb, only on loan players like Gio Reyna and in general players who didnt achieve their potential yet and want to restart their career like Kabak did. Baku, Hlozek, Ismael Jakobs, on loan moukoko...

avatar
Ferguson have actually undergo an ACL operation and I think that he's not set to leave, at least not this summer. Orsolini was the first to cheer the people once the CL qualification was reached, he's too in love with the city and the team and the environment, I don't think he's going to leave too
avatar
Mmmmh, You may have a point. But 2 things: 1) Tonali went to Newcastle mostly because Milan forced the move with everything they had because they needed money and they most of all knew he was a gambler, and you can't convince me that's a lie. Leaving the city Tonali was filmed crying, maybe they were fake but I don't think the entire motif behind his departure is money. He was also a supporter since childhood, damn, let me believe in dreams :D; 2) Fergy always said he's good in Bologna, and being a little bit inside the environment I can guarantee you that for this season he won't go, or at leas he's not the one to force a move and leave the city. Anyway we'll see, I gave you my impressions and that little bit of knowledge I have of my team but those are not dogmas
avatar
Sure thing. I'd sell Zirkzee if Motta leaves, he's a system player and I can't see him do THIS good with any other manager (Italiano, Sarri, don't know who he gonna get), but I think not so much players will leave: Calafiori, Orsolini and Ferguson will stay, in my opinion. Also, I'm aware we're not going to be the new Atalanta unless we start to sell our players, and even in this situation it's a difficult path to walk. But I'm confident
avatar
Uth extended his contract to 2025 and made it so he can stay here in the 2nd division. Lemperle and Huseinbasic still have a contract here so unless the director piss them off (which isnt that unrealistic), they could stay since they would get tons of playtime here. Schmitz is bad and he could also stay if no one wants to buy him, simply because hes too bad (same with Kainz and Maina). We will probably get a new coach and i cant imagine any good coach taking over the club in this state with this director. There is potential for a disaster of a season, which would be even worse for our winter transfer period. Next season will still be a lot more fun than the seasons in the Bundesliga

Finally, after 0-4 win against Osnabrück we stay in the league and start planning for next season (ben manga as sport director). 2 goals by Topp, Ouedraogo and Karaman. Now, with all that pressure falling away (Terodde and Kaminski crying after the game), we can look up for the next both games to get the best possible position (9th/8th) to get some extra money. Müller, who did insanely good for us, is rumoured to move to Wolfsburg. As a fan that would leave me really sad, as he is a real leader and showed great mentallity. But Hekeeren did also an really good job in belgium as a loanee and is a big big talent. We really need to extend the contracts with Karaman and Topp(!!!). Ouedraogo is a diamond as talent, but he could bring in some good money for us 8-15m and is chased by many, many clubs in- and outside germany.

Hope EA solve your career mode bug! I havent bought Maignam yet, just planning, and yeah, Mamardashvili is deffo an option!
avatar
Yeah i definitly get your point. Kainz is in terrible form right now and i do think we need an even better captain than him right now because we have a moral problem in this team. Baumgarts dismissal came way too late, he was trying weird experiments and destroyed the confidence of the team. Timo Horn had a pretty bad form during the past few years so it was a good step letting him leave the squad
avatar
Damn bro for real? WTF? Will you start another save? I was this weekend thinking about you, I have just started a new career with bayern and it is so dope. I ve put a lot of effort in the tattics this time. I'm in a 4231 with wingers. My tattics are personalized in a mix of Xabi's 3421 and Klopp's 18/19 433. The team is playing amazing. i've done a kind of rebuild, it isnt 100% realistic but it is really good. I've bought Wirtz, Theo Hernandez Sold Coman, Upamecano, Sarr, Davies I'm also considering selling Gnabry, Goretzka, Maybe Laimer And Bring Van Dijk, Bruno Guimarães, Maybe Reece James. Maignan is the Chosen one to replace neuer the team is Neuer Mazraoui, De Ligt, Dier Kimmich (C), Guerreiro Sané, Wirtz, Musiala Kane I gave a free hole to Wirtz with aggressive interceptions, Jamal is set to cut inside while sané keeps it wide and always try to cut the lines to receive the ball further. Maz give a mixed support to the attack, while Theo Goes up Always. Theo is a really balanced player, attacks and defends so well. Both CDMs stay back, Guerreiro is being amazing in the build up. He covers the wing when defending and Kimmich always stays in the center of it all. Just like in Xabi's Leverkusen, I attack with 5 and defend with 5, to keep balance. I want that while the LB is attacking, the RB gets more close to the center and help in the Build Xabi's team defending 5 with the ball looks like: ººº ºº Stanisic, Tapsoba, Hiencapie Xhaka, Andrich mine's look like: ºº ººº De Ligt, Eric Dier Mazraoui, Kimmich, Guerreiro

Having an investor own less than 50% of the club is okey to some extent. Its very important for real german football fans to own atleast 50% of the club. Clubs like Hertha have tried the investor route but you can already see how hard it failed. We could have been a stable and independant Top 10 team if we just had a normal management. And yes, i think Florian Kainz will stay here because he already played in 2. Bundesliga with our team. Only thing that could disrupt it would be a good transfer offer which i think wont be coming in his current form
avatar
I hope too man. I just think that the board along with the director live in an isolated bubble where they dont even know what theyre doing. They treat the youth academy like pure shit, keep saving money despite in extreme need of transfers while at the same time wasting it on players who have barely even showed what theyre capable of or had their best form atleast 5 years ago. With the board you can easily see how colognes nepotism (called Kölner Klüngel) has flowed into the club with a board that has NO idea how to lead a club nor how to act in situations that are really really dangerous for our future (transfer ban). I know that we had tons of debt which was the fault of our previous directors and board who were even worse. Its just bad that nothing has changed and we get relegated again
avatar
Yes, we will have a lot of money to spend with Chabot, Schwäbe and Ljubicic sold to other clubs. But its unclear how or if we will even spend all of that money into similiar players. I will probably make a realistic squad for next season but its def possible that we will have to rely on youth and reserve players only
avatar
I used to make real squads with real ratings because EA used to underrate the shit out of this team. Now its overrated as shit

Average IQ of Haaland haters must be 50. Put this guy in a team who uses fast transition play like Real Madrid and watch him go back to that exciting Haaland of Salzburg or Dortmund. Peps system doesn't use him to his best and this is not a problem of the coach or the player, just a bad match. But he still scores so fucking much it doesn't even matter. Put Alvarez as a starter instead of him and watch him score just 10 league goals. City won the treble because they finally got a real striker. Give me a slightly technically worse striker like Haaland instead of Gabriel Jesus if that means getting consistent scoring. Haaland has an average of 1 goal per game for 6 years now in every competition he plays. If its so easy why doesn't anyone else do it?

Rangnick Pro: - father of gegenpressing (or i should say master), could fit with bayern player and playstyle - speaks german - already knew some of the player, even most of them is his own product - really good with youngsters - did a really good job at Hoffenheim, Red Bull Group (Leipzig, Salzburg) - already knew bundesliga Cons: - never win major trophy - too dominant in sporting area (idk this is good or bad for our rumoured 200M overhaul) - recent awful MU career - there's Zidane and Flick available

Hello my blud! Damn bro I'm so happy it is working on! I've seen that in this EA FC 24 where you position the players in the squad build makes a lot of influence even though if you dont change the function! For exemple, fullbacks to defend well needs to be lined with the CBs, really narrowed. Give us a pic of your squad when possible, I really wanna see it. Bro i've been a while without playing. I'm ending my bachelor and time have been in lack, but I'm planying on starting a new career sooner or later!

Both, but what I do is Use the CF itself to take tackles and more offensive press, and the CM start to mark closes using the R1
avatar
Tomorrow really important game against Elversberg. Finally media got a lot more quite around the club, as players, coaches and the club at all showed unified again and again and again. Actually there's already some planing for next season. Anton Donkor will join our club (probably as Ouwejan replacement, or just to bring in another character: strong and fast). It's reported that Mehmet Can Aydin will come back from Trapzon. That could be a really lucky decision for as (Brunner will probably leave too), and he is a really talented guy. Negotiations are also quite far with William Balikwisha. He's a talented CAM with lot of creativity and potential. Could be a high risk/high reward transfer. Also rumoured is that Thibaud Verlinden could join our club.
avatar
I'll check it later and give it too you, but if i'm not mistaken, I play a gengenpressing with high lines, really wide when attacking, and really closed when defending. I demand both LM/RM to get back and defend, and at least one of the CMs to stay in the middle. use the ST and CFs to try to press a lot
avatar
it doesnt get solve even if you change the two CM into TWO CDMs? I feel so much balance in this formation
avatar
Try giving instruction for both LM and RM to get back to defend, this may decrease the charge over the defenders
avatar
Hello guys, i know i'm not part of the conversation, and also i dont have as much knowledge in Schalke as TretRollerGott, but I also like career mode and realistic builds, I just have this detail that I prefer players with real face. Indeed, I was questioning, wouldnt be a good option playing in a 3421, and bringing in an option for the second spot of the CF/CAM? David Lennart Philipp from Viktoria Koln and Klement from Kaiserslautern can be two good and real options. Klement is actually a bench, although a really BuLi 2 experient player, and really good in build up. Philipp is young an can evolve a lot. Both are cheap, with low sallaries! Also, this would allow Churlinov to play in a better system for him, similar to what happens with the duo Wirtz-Hoffman in B04, or Musiala-Wirtz in DFB. Klement/Philipp-Churlinov

Wow, didn't realize that Bologna is in the race to qualify for UCL until I got curios after you comment. With not that much background knowledge I always cheer for the underdogs (knowing Bologna isn't a small club, but also not the italian top 4). I heard a lot positive about your fans. Hope the tie against Monza will be worth something in the end and that maybe roma struggles today. We finally managed to win against Nürnberg yesterday and got a 5 point buffer to relegation zone for the upcoming 5 games (luckily we are facing some lower teams and we did quite well against the topteams in the last few games). It was a big relief for our team and it's insane how emotional the club got: Seguin, who scored the 2nd goal, didn't celebrate at all, but started immediatly crying like a baby. Other players just sacked down on the field in pure relief. Media (e.g. social media "experts") are massively shit-talking one week in, one week out. The coach, the team, the club is clearly making progress, we were unlucky to not win in the last games but considering we played the leagues best clubs, we did still a great job and stabilized our broken defense. But those "experts" are only bullshitting to bring in more trouble, to create anger between club and fans... unbearable atm. Thanks, all the best for the next six games and keep the good work up!
avatar
I totally understand, I started playing careers "more realistic" some years ago too. Only with the different that I use youth players a lot, what brings me to a huge problem the last years: potential. All of the youth players (normal players, talents too) will explode at some point and then it becomes sadly boring to me. Just get to season 4-5 and then... it's over for me. I'm happy to see some interest in my club and other players to keep it realistic as another level of difficulty :) Myself I can't play my own club as a fan: I'm too attached and would keep them almost all :D
avatar
Hi EvilR, the team looks fine right now, but not that much changes (what makes it realistic). To keep Karaman is maybe our top target, as his contract is running out next year and it's our last chance to see some money. For that reason I highly doubt that we will be able to keep Churlinov. We love him, he loves us, but right now we have to admit, that he's not fitting the system and not in good form. He could have been lethal last summer with former coach Reis playing 4-3-3 but right now it's hard for him (of course also because of his sepsis he had, still recovering). He's also not that good as 2nd attacking forward and would play more likely in 352 as an offensive option on the right wing. So all in all, I understand your view and your decision as an "Investment", but he would easily cost 3m as a fee and would easily become our highest paid player (=/= performance). He could have been an realistic option, when we would have made a run for promotion from winter on (think that was the plan behind his signing and option to buy). But as you said, from his performances right now, maybe it's possible to extend the loan and split the salary for one more year. Our actual coach Karel is doing a great job, but most players simply doesn't suit this or any other system :D Schallenberg and Seguin did really improve a lot. Seguin was already on his way off the club, but now he's the perfect fit on the second look (deep playing playmaker). Schallenberg on the other side showed unexpected great defending abilities and did perform great as the central CB in line and became the connection-link between all lines. We really miss and need some physical but also fast defenders like we had the last few years in Thiaw, Jenz and Itakura. So in my opionion Siersleben and Klarer aren't that much fitting players, just as Matriciani. We were really interested in gettingt Letsch and Patris and imaging them winging a clever tactical playing Schallenberg could have been the perfect solution for all our problems. Also Murkin is doing great as a LCB and not that much in competition with Ouwejan. Maybe a talented low budget LB behind Ouwejan and Murkin (as pacy strong) defender instead of Siersleben. We love Henning Matriciani and at least, he's fast and strong, but you clearly see that he was playing 4th division 2-3 years ago. His positioning is incredibly poor and he's too easy to pass (lack of cleverness). Tousart and Berge are both waaaay off limits, even with promotion. Meyer could become an good option (maybe even in 2nd division) if he really wants to come back and take the challenge. Traore, Sankoh and Ahamada are good tarkets (last one maybe as loan).
avatar
Uff, hard to tell. Terodde will end his career. Ouwejan's contract is running out, but I have the feeling, he will stay. Schallenberg and Seguin were both huge disappointments, but with Geraert both are getting better and better from game to game. It will be a huuuge rebuild this sommer. But also something we can't really plan or see right now. First players like Latza, Mohr, Drexler and Baumgartl have to leave, to get some budget free. Players like Soppy(no obligation) and Churlinov (3m fee, plus salary) will go back to their club (or maybe loaned out longer) as there is no money to keep them. Kabadayi (1m option) could stay, but his talent is way too raw. Showing one good game and then 5 bad games. I really don't know about him. It would be essential to get rid of Fährmann. He had a great career and he identifies with our club, but he's got his old contract (~2m p.a.) and he and his agent bringing in a lot of trouble, when he's not playing (due to his many many injuries). But, of course, the chances are low that he will leave. It is rumoured that Heekeren is doing such a great job in Belgium (and he's a modern GK) that he club plans to keep Müller and him fighting for the starting position. That "could be" a point for Fährmann to leave the club. We have to do everything to keep Topp, Karaman, Seguin, Schallenberg, Kalas and Müller. Ouedraogo will leave the club and we are hoping to get 10-20 millions (he has a release clause ~15 for international clubs and RB Leipzig, Frankfurt, Bayern, Milan) are chasing him the whole season. We really need some players in any position but very important in our defense, that bring in some pace. CB, RB are our main problems for almost three years. I don't know how high/low their obligation is, but getting Mehmet Can Aydin back from his loan to Trabzon could be a game changer for us.
avatar
Actually there is a lot of work in progress behind the club. Our Board is getting smaller, director positions shortened (we had most directior of any professional club in germany) but on other site our scounting-team gets extended massively. We will get Ben Manga (the guy behind the Frankfurt rebirth) as Manager/Head of scouting if we keep the league, but his team consisting of 8!!! new scouts (Costa, Broos, Echave, Viñas, Andersohn, Durand Fattori , Diego Lopes Gomez, Tonello) is already here. A very international and experienced team, that were the heads behind Kolo Muani, Jovic, Ndicka, Tuta, Kamada and many many more. In our situation it's absolutely nuts to think that we can just "remake" those signings, but I really expect some "random" signings of young and cheap! talents from south america, asia, and so on.
avatar
How about your Motta instead ^^?
