What we need is to sell him ASAP. He's probably pushing to break some kind of record at this point with his fouls, bad passing and shooting errors leading to counter attacks, and times dispossessed combined. Anyone can have a decent pass completion percentage playing simple 2 meter passes in midfield if you're going to appeal to that, Joe Allen made way less mistakes than Mac Allister and he was always being dissed for being uninventive. I'd take Joe Allen back over Macca. Joe Gomez can make a bad error maybe once per 15 games max, being golden otherwise - and he always gets ripped for that. For Mac Allister it's 2 or 3 of those errors every game on average and he gets hyped as if he is even a decent player. The Villa game was not a one off, it's the norm for Mac Allister.
