Time will tell I guess. I know it’s a not popular opinion but I just can’t see him having as good of a season as he has had this year, ever. Hope he proves me wrong though. I like the kid.

This might be one of my more controversial takes but I see Palmer absolutely flopping in the 2024/25 season. We’ve seen how good Poch is at developing his talents. Look at what happened at Tottenham with Dele Alli (who also wore the jersey number 20). Poch was brilliant with Dele to be fair and Dele was flying at Tottenham. Poch left, tactics changed and he had a massive downfall. I’m not sure if the tactics that Enzo Maresca likes to play will make Cole Palmer continue on having the break out season he had this year. I’d love to be proven wrong here as I genuinely like the kid. But I just can’t help but feel like this is a purple patch and he won’t perform this coming season.
