They are fullbacks that play in midfield, but they still play on the midfield and, again, even fifa can't tell the difference between some LM and some LWB. And, again, the role is not recognized in the game unless you are using them as "slightly advanced" fullbacks (not midfielders) and, again, there is no concrete difference between what fifa considers midfielders and wings. So no, not only is a not a position (it'd be like adding "playmaker" as a position basically) but removing it and converting all wb in midfielders and all the LM/RM that plays as wingers in WINGERS would benefit the game, especially career mode. Since thy stick to wingbacks, they could also idk modify the 3-5-2 formation so that the outside midfielders can be considered wingbacks, but again, it's a role
