What a season he is having! He was always talented when he burst onto the scene for Sporting, and his loan move to Tondela helped him so much. His loan to Hoffenheim wasn't as successful, as he sometimes played with their B team, but he gained experience. Everyone thought he would be a rotational player returning to Sporting due to some serious competition among their center backs. However, whenever he got a chance, he proved he could start games. He has been a big talent for years but didn’t receive much hype until last year. He is perfect for a back three formation, and he proved again today why he is a starter. It’s good to see EA recognize his potential, but I think he deserves a much higher rating. Hopefully, he will get a future call-up for Portugal. By the way, he is a distant relative of Brazilian legend Zico.
