I think he'd have a decent basis to form him into a inverted fullback but whether Sahin wants to play like this or plans with Coulibaly is a completely different question
avatar
I prefer Calafiori

It’s totally fair IMO. The euros bring the continent together while Russia is killing people and fighting a war against Ukraine which is backed up by all of Europe. While politics and the sport have to be separated, a war in Europe shouldn’t be ignored in the euros. Politics are in this case way more important than the sport.

Thank god xD

I respect opinions so dont feel attacked but what is it based on? From d outside we know nothing. Surely the club felt like it was the best decision but we cant judge on it really. Am not saying its right or wrong, how would i know some players say about some coach it was the best one i ever had, another player says about the same coach he was d worst one. Fact is, it was a difficult time to be our coach compared to some years before and he had alot of success still. So whoever steps in.. do we know he will do better? I hope so but who are we to judge really. At least i know Terzic cared... What we do now is just guessing. All i know is he got alot of hate that was unwarranted. I had my problems with some of his decisions too but also i never went as far as some to not be able to praise him anymore. We do this to alot of players too. Not saying there should always be yes man but now its at a point that people act like, talented "kids" that had 6 mediocre months, have lost all their ability all of sudden. I dont feel too sorry i mean they earn millions but who are we to judge whats happening inside d offices and locker rooms. We dont know if the decision is right, we just hope for it and that the higher ups know what they are doing.
avatar
Not really keen on Sahin btw, seems like the whole situation with Terzic all over again. I’d rather have someone that has zero correlation to Borussia Dortmund and is literally all about the football. Too much nostalgia bias is running in our Clubs DNA. But I’ll let him cook I guess
avatar
Ngl, would love that.

Very important message! I will be honest here: I am a green voter and count myself as a mid-lefti. I am for diversity, human rights for everyone and to help them if they need help. But this doesn't mean that I can't critizise our goverment and their doing on certain points in politics. Politic is to talk about, to argue with each other and to find a common ground (if possible). It's not like you have to agree with everything "your" political party stand for. That said: NOT IN A MILLION YEARS I would think about voting for a fasschistic party like the AfD that is run by Nazis or partner of other goverments like China and Russia. I simple can not understand how you can overlook these facts about the AfD JUST TO VOTE AGAINST the current/common parties.
avatar
I know that sofifa is a site that is about football, but I would like to make one thing very clear: being a fan of BVB and at the same time voting for a right-wing radical party like the AfD, which has been successfully infiltrated by Nazis, does not go together. Far too many young people today have, shockingly, voted for right-wing radicals. The BVB stands for diversity and tolerance and democracy, parties like the AfD, the Lega in Italy or the Rassemblement National in France disregard these values and represent a great danger to the beloved peace that is taken far too much for granted in most of our countries. Everyone who voted right-wing today should be ashamed of themselves! Let us do everything we can to stand up against this shift to the right and save democracy! Borussia Dortmund - Echte Liebe. for everyone

It's already official that Martel isn't leaving Köln, would've been an interesting option for that price

Great, showed great runs and dribblings on the left and interchanged perfectly with Mittelstädt

avatar
Still very proud of every single player for this UCL Run This loss will hurt for years but reality is that every player played amazingly and they gave their all yesterday We‘ll be back, hopefully no more Wembley
avatar
It's heartbreak season again. Nevertheless a performance to be proud of.

Crazy how there hasn’t been a DFB Pokal winner since 2021 I wonder why🤔

That concept is very cool tho It builds up hype and atmosphere for the Euros It’s something innovative and creative instead of just blankly posting 26 names on a graphic on twitter

Beier is not the profile Terzic would buy
avatar
Loaned out Players: Sankoh has the highest chance to be staying Perea, Faghir will likely get sold Idk bout Kastanaras Dias will absolutely be sold or even terminated Loaned players: Rouault, Stergiou already bought Undav will likely be bought Leweling was crucial too, he may be bought too Dahoud was nothing for us, will go back Nübel was loaned again for 2 years
avatar
Ok, on thing at a time: Who is Osman, what is a "GD Nazi" but more importantly why should I care and what does any of this have to do with Dortmund or even football for that matter?

Porto and Monaco excist

Gotta say it, this win was the perfect start to my birthday. I'm so fucking happy for the team. I couldn't watch the full game because school got in the way, but Holy shit Dortmund are in the UCL final. Hummels top 3 CB in the last 15 years

Love sancho with you guys. He is so lively

Watching Reus play in all his glory is truly the definition of bittersweet.
avatar
This is by far the most fun game all season Absolute 22/23 May vibes (except for the 27th) Marco delivering on all stages Moukoko great, even apart from the goals. Morey and Wätjen look exciting, Malen and Jamie with lots of fun, Nmecha finally doing what we expect from him It’s just fun watching this Please Terzic more of this football!!!
avatar
i always knew germany people have an elite football knowledge, thanks pal
avatar
A little off topic with our big win yesterday but the more and more I think about it I actually wouldn’t mind signing Guirassy, if we end up selling haller or mouki of course. He’s not the kind of striker I want but we have to be real aslong as terzic is in charge this is the type of profile he wants, and just having turned 28 on a 3 year contract or even 4 year would put him at fullkrugs age now, I think it’s a no brainer for 17m. Watching him closely this year he is an animal at putting the ball into the net. Guirassy With fulle of the bench should be terzic’s wet dream, 17m to fix a issue for the next 4 years so we can focus on other positions would be a good deal imo
avatar
I think elephant was referring to the pitch can’t remember exactly what I read but it was something to do with what pitches they use for training or something. I think tuchel came out and spoke on it a little while back, sorry I don’t have my facts straight just remeber something of the sort
avatar
Come on you beautiful yellow bastards, let’s meet up at Wembley
avatar
Whenever I watch you play big teams (Bayern, Atletico now PSG) you seem like one of Europe's greatest. Really beautiful football, I don't understand how you struggle so much
avatar
ratings are mostly spot on tbh, only minor up- and downgrades necessary upgrades: Jakic 75/77, Vargas 75/79, Pedersen 74/74, Breithaupt 72/81, Kömür 63/80 (+ Günther 66/78, Cardona 72/75) downgrades: Michel 71/71, Biel 73/73 (+ Okugawa 71/72)
avatar
fuck what a pass from Kroos
avatar
My special edition kit finally made it to me yesterday, got it up on my wall framed right next to the blackout kit, being from Canada I had to get up at 2am and wait in a que for hours but worth it I can’t stop starring at them, beyond stoked.
avatar
League is over. Full focus on UCL. I’m not even crazily bothered by yesterday. I expected us to lose 4:0 tbh. But I’m optimistic asf in the UCL. We are a different team there. Hope Hummels will be back by Wednesday
avatar
Ten percent luck, twenty percent skill...y'all know the rest.
avatar
Sounds pretty much like he's heading to Frankfurt though 😁
avatar
I'd like to shout out Gruda as well, kids the real deal. Very agile dribbler. think he could be a huge longterm player for a club like us. potential like Wirtz but likely a lot more affordable. Also German
avatar
https://twitter.com/davegdd/status/1782502873860849769?t=c4j7KXJpJpnXwLcvXfUTdg&s=19 You know the leaks must be fake when puma actually made good looking kits
avatar
One of my absolute favorite players. allways gives 100% on the pitch and such a wholesome personality as well
avatar
I was on the same boat with you, but then I remembered how much does Hakimi overlap, so the left wing will need a lot of coverage from the winger, so I'd say Adeyemi in that case. It depends on how are we approaching the match, if we want to play as equals, Sancho, if we want to hold them and hope for a dagger-ish counter attack, Adeyemi.
avatar
Watzke will be stepping back at the end of 2025 as announced earlier this year, the club will split his job into two parts. One is the CEO Sport and the other is CEO of finances or whatever they will call it, I'd assume that Carsten Cramer will take that spot. Mislintat will focus more on squad planning according to the news And as it seems Broich won't be the direct replacement for Ricken
avatar
As far as I understand that’s correct. Also Kehl is expected to renew his contract in spite not getting a promotion. And Sammer remains as the consultant of Watzke and now Ricken, who he is very close to.
avatar
Dear Mr. Terzić Hope this post finds you in good health. If you beat Leipzig this Saturday, never again will I say not giving Rose another season was a mistake. Yours truly, An idiot online with a frog avatar

Bundesliga teams in UCL semi finals: 23/24:✅✅❌❌ 22/23:❌❌❌❌ 21/22: ❌❌❌❌ 20/21:❌❌❌❌ 19/20:✅✅❌❌ 18/19:❌❌❌❌ 17/18:✅❌❌❌ 16/17:❌❌❌❌ 15/16:✅❌❌❌ 14/15:✅❌❌❌ 13/14:✅❌❌❌ 12/13:✅✅❌❌ 11/12:✅❌❌❌ 10/11:✅❌❌❌ 09/10:✅❌❌❌ Ngl, I expected less. But the Premier League has 12 semi finals and the Bundesliga has 13. Most underrated league in the world imo. Hope that Leverkusen can go deep in UCL next season!

Its just like when people turned on a player its over. Like lets forget that they had 3 decent games in a row when they have their next shaky or mediocre perfomance they call them trash and act like they cant play football anymore. Criticism is fine and necessary but i feel like sometimes its getting outta hand. I know i guess its d social media age. The 18/19 Witsel to me was the best CM in the league this season. Side story: That title loss hurt as much as last years. Especially because we played very attractive football over the most part of that season. I kno exactly the day we lost it. Its when we lead 3-0 at halftime vs. Hoffenheim at home and played 3-3 or something like that. That to me was d beginning of d end.
avatar
Yes they sold their soul definitely. Just the word "owner". To me a club is regional or national good that brings people together to accomplish goals. How can a person/investor/company own a institution with tradition like this. Imagine if Todd Boehly wants to he could change the kits colour of Chelsea to green or red just because he feels like it. And i dont want to point out a single clubs fanbase but its just the youngest example on my mind: it was so sad seeing Newcastle fans celebrating their club getting taken over by the Saudi state.
avatar
Currently it is the most commercialised out of the leagues hence it has the most money circulating in it. As of the "best league in th world", you know that old saying if you repeat a lie enough times it becomes reality? That's the premier league in a nutshell. I remember them saying how this was the best league in the world at a time where the best players in the world were leaving Barcelona and Real Madrid for Italian clubs.
avatar
I get your point 😉 but i thought he said that in the context of PL players have to play more competitions / more games and are exhausted at the end of a season / in international comps... I have another one ... how many english coaches even won the premier league and where do most of the star players and personell come from that make them the best league? (am not stupid still think they are).. thy come from these so called "farmers leagues"
