I think he would more interprete the lone 6 like Busquets or Xabi (Deep-lying, ball playing and tactical fouling) but nowhere like Casemiro prime in Madrid
avatar
I really really like Hradecky this season, but as it turns out to have been a good decision to have gotten a 2nd goalkeeper for the cup games I'm very happy that we presumably found a rightful successor.

Schick is the better finisher and has a better first touch similiar to the likes of lewandwoski. Boni is more the nunez type of player and creates chances and chaos on his own with his dribblings and strength but he needs to improve his finishing

As a Schalker I’d like to thank you for your effort in toppling Bayern. https://s3a.sofifa.net/10f2094d9143356bcb0a9fcf8c3dd317150b817b.jpg

Sancho hatrick in the first 5 minutes Kane gets injured, Reus smacks Terciz in the face and he magically turns into Juergen Klopp, before Reus also scores a hatrick and the game ends up 9-0. Then we win everything and live happily ever after.
avatar
I know but you can’t beat that price for a rotational striker in this current market. It’s too good not pull the trigger
avatar
We have absolutely 0 player who can score with the head or be dangerous after a air cross, Joselu is the only one. So for 1,5M€ he will stay one more year before going to Saudi Arabia. Also we don’t know how Endrick will adapt (look at Vitor Roque) so if he’s not playing well Joselu will still be there
avatar
You got 1st right
avatar
Nagelsmans best moments in his Leipzig team is in a back 5. Tuchel as best moments in Bayern are with a pseudo back 5 as well. Even the way pep plays currently is a hybrid back 5/4 system. There’s nothing wrong with back 5s.

Gotta reach that CL final for the UEFA rankings

Please let's not forget that the prize for the top scorer in the Bundesliga is a cannon like the Arsenal cannon, I want to see Kane holding it
avatar
Indeed, but there is no reason to hate them for it. Just ask yourself, why is Bayer allowed to be in the name and badge of the club, but for Red Bull it is forbidden. The answer is simple: Red Bull Leipzig was founded in 2009 to advertise the Energy drink. Bayer 04 on the other hand was founded in 1904 after the request of workers from the Bayer factory, who asked the company to organise a sports club for them. Bayer agreed, to raise the well being and physical health of their workers. The club is an oldschool workers club, just like Arsenal, or PSV. And yes, they are sponsored by Bayer, but what is wrong with that? While other clubs pay salaries whith oil money, or wear weird chinese hyper capitalist logos on their kits, i think that being sponsored by the local company from your hometown is the biggest W sponsorship money a club can get these days.

People who aren't familiar with german football won't know what a huge achievement it is by alonso. Leverkusen is always a top half team but they are called neverkusen for always coming second at best. For a coach in 1.5 years to bring them the bundesliga title is absolutely crazy

Nah Mikel likes to play both wingers wide and fullbacks in the middle instead. Grimaldo is too good to not being played as a wing back. We just lost Timber way too early this season and Tommy just cannot get out the injury (or he can but he just decided to go for the national team once he recovered and came back injured again I mean how brilliant can that be). Zinchenko is fine as long as he doesn't move into the midfield position that aggressively since his physicality is not that supreme where he can come back when in transition. Did an Ok job facing Liverpool but let's not hold our breath and just pray for the return of Timber ASAP.

I understand, I was hoping that Hložek would succeed here, I believe that an exact position was needed for him, one time he starts as Center Forward, another time as Second Striker, and now in this formation of 352 it has gotten worse... but anyway, thank you very much for I replied, I'm Brazilian and here it's very difficult to follow Leverkusen news
avatar
And to think that here the maximum number of foreigners (fortunately) does not reach 10. Thanks for answering.

Pep Lijnders to Leverkusen, Alonso to Liverpool, good deal for both sides 👍
avatar
Why would he wait for Real when he can instead immediately join Liverpool, on top of all that he is also a Liverpool legend

4 if you count adli and hlozek both as 0.5 too

How I expect the rest of the season to go: League: We end up going on a long unbeaten run, only dropping points to teams facing relegation. Kane and Sane get injured, so Bayern end up dropping loads of points. That is, they are injured until we face Bayern, before they subsequently go back to being injured. We end up losing to them 20-0. We then continue our good form, until the final day. Kane ends up scoring a bicycle kick from the top of the box in the 15th minute of extra time. We end up losing the title on goal difference. As for Leverkusen, I have but one word, Neverkusen. Pokal: We're already out, come on. Champions League: The first leg at PSV is a tight 1-1 draw, with Brandt getting our goal. We end up comfortably dispatching them at our place though, winning 2-0. We draw Real Sociedad, who we beat 1-0 at home. At their place though, it's a different story. They go 1-0 up early on, and we struggle to get into the game. Sociedad are all forward, and Ian Maatsen steals the ball before playing Sancho in behind 1 on 1, before he comfortably chips it over the keeper, securing our place in the semi's. We then draw Real Madrid, who just beat Manchester City at the Etihad for a stunning second leg comeback. They dominate us in the first leg, with Vini scoring 2 and Bellingham scoring 1. We go home down 3-0, before putting on a stunning display. Terzic turns into Pep, and Dortmund turn into 2011 Barcelona. Brandt scores the first, and Sancho scores the second. It's late into the second half with us 3-2 down, before Moukoko goes on a brilliant run before slotting the ball into the net. The game goes to extra time, though the game stays level until the 120th minute. Malen is fouled on the edge of the box, and who else would take it but Marco Reus, who pulls of a stunning, Ronaldo esc knuckleball into the top right-hand corner. We get to the final, where we face the one, the only, Bayern. Malen scores early to put us ahead at Wembly, before Musiala equalizes. Moukoko scores late in the game, and we think we've won it, before Kane breaks our hearts and scores late in the second half. The game remains level and it goes to penalties. Kane goes first, and scores. Malen goes for us, and also scores. Sane is up next, and he slots it away. Brandt does the same. It is then Muller, who's shot is brilliantly saved by Kobel! For some reason, Wolf steps up to take a pen, and he skies it over. Kimmich comes and scores his pen too, and Fulkrug does the same. Musiala steps up, and Kobel saves it! It is then all up to the ex-captain, Marco Reus. Can he score, can he give his boyhood club their second Champions League title? He has the whole world watching, millions of hopes and dreams on his back. He steps up and slams it into the top left corner! Dortmund are European Champions for the second time! All the heartbreak of last season is forgotten, as tears of joy are shared by the players, fans, and staff alike. Before the trophy is lifted, Can hands the captains armband over to Reus, who lift the Champions League for Borussia Dortmund. Ronyell Malen wins the Ballon d'or, and Kobel wins the Yashin award. Reus and Hummels retire as legends of not only Dortmund, but of the game. These are all my real opinions btw, hope you enjoyed my delusion!

You can actually explain most of these transfers 1. Bayern bid 20mil for Lewy the summer before his transfer expired. We got more money and CL football because he stayed one more year 2. Bosz wasted and ruined Bartra at RB. Also the bomb attack affected him a lot, which made him want to leave 3. Chelsea wanted a stupid amount for Batshuayi. I found a couple of reports from back then stating that Chelsea wanted 60mil 4. That's on Tuchel 5. Spending 40mil on Hakimi at the start of Covid without knowing how it could affect us long term would've been a huge risk. Replacing him with Meunier was probably worse though 6. Götze was a 60mil package who had 12 decent months at most. He rejected lowering his wage of 10mil and got his ass kicked out 7. Do you really think no one at Dortmund tried to give Haaland a new contract with a higher clause/no clause at all? 8. Guerreiro has done fuck all for Bayern apart from being injured. Plus he's a snake for talking to them while we were in a title fight 9. Dahoud hurt and would be needed rn

I became a Leverkusen supporter because of Ballack, who was one of my favorite players growing up I then got back to watching closely when Brandt (one of my favorite current players) was coming up and then his partnership with Havertz was a delight It's marvelous to see Wirtz, Frimpong and these other young gigantic talents team up with Schick, Hofmann, Tah, all players who I've admired for a while, under such amazing management by Xabi Alonso, a former Liverpool player, no less... I'm having the most fun watching them than anyone else rn and I hope they win it all, even the UEL, which I don't care much that Liverpool win
