Signed for Philadelphia Union

Gets judged pretty harshly for a player playing out of position and sporadic game time. He has potential but his peak is in a back 3 which we don’t play tbh.
avatar
Pl is a fast league compared to any other by a large margain
avatar
78/81 at least. wtf is ea smoking.
avatar
I always hoped he would steal the starting spot from Zielinski, sadly it never happened. I'll miss you Eljif, good luck.
avatar
Goodbye Eljif I will miss you. I wish they would've played you more. Thx for winning the Scudetto with us and scoring crucial goals. Good luck at Leipzig.
avatar
I was devastated when Timber news came out and still am a little bit not to be able to see him play the first half of the season But tomi has fit in like a glove, there is definitely room for improvement but so far this season he has been nothing short of phenomenal, so much so that I feel he HAS to be in the starting XI and he needs an update with movement and dribbling, he’s almost playing with twinkle toes rn Absolutely love him and the news about his mother explains why he played a bit poor at the start of the second half of last season He looks fully fit and raring to go
avatar
astronomically clear of trashford
avatar
Looked so lively when he came on, best thing was the post match interview just responding to a question about how he’d celebrate by having dinner with his family Feels so lucky to have him, a great player and seems like a low drama and mature person
avatar
Bernardo doesnt have the pace to play RW but he still excels there. But I get what you're saying
avatar
Probably deserves something like 73/80 for the next Fifa.
avatar
Arsenal supporters need to let Havertz breathe. The constant questions and criticism of him is already starting a "Maguire" situation. Arteta has a clear plan for him, hence the swift and decisive signing of him. New signings will need time to adjust, he's gone from playing in a chaotic chop and change Chelsea to a complicated system at Arsenal. Just chill a bit, we are 2 games in.
avatar
Call me deluded but I genuinely believe this guy can come good under Arteta.
avatar
Nketiah: 131 games played for Arsenal (5'593 minutes) / 32 goals / 5 assists Martinelli: 130 games played for Arsenal (8'024 minutes) / 33 goals / 19 assists I absolutely love Martinelli and he will becoma a superstar for us! But I don't like how we treat Nketiah... he is doing well for us!
avatar
20 G/A in the prem is really impressive I think it’s a fair shout
avatar
Can’t believe it’s already been four years with this beast. Insane how much he’s done for the club so far and even crazier that he’s only 22.
avatar
Would like to see him at Southampton, think he's not quite ready for the PL and could do with another season in the championship with Saints, who will hopefully bounce straight back up, at that point i reckon he'd be ready to play at PL level.
avatar
yeah, the fact that VAR didn't take into account the context of the situation is utterly bizarre considering that's one of the predominant reasons for implementing it in the first place...
avatar
undeserved red card
avatar
got sent off for no reason.
avatar
dude was going 7v1 and he got a red.....terrible call
avatar
I’m glad he did what he did. Him and dest stood up for Balogun. A great way to show support to Balogun.
avatar
Back on my please sign this man for Dortmund train. Idc if he used to play for schalke he’s exactly the sort of midfielder we’ll need for depth since we lost Dahoud and he’s a class act
avatar
Sir Barf legend already
avatar
Just because he’s trending doesn’t mean he was amazing. If you read the comments everyone is being pretty level headed, like you said everyone thinks he played okay and deserves a pace upgrade.
avatar
Stats don’t back this claim, they actually prove the opposite lmao https://twitter.com/usmntonly/status/1646537631289819139?s=20

Martinelli and Trossard are far more deserving of a spot in the TOTS than Rashford. He had a 10 game purple patch which is far from a reflection of his entire season, ghosts in most games and doesn't do much more apart from scoring, rarely contributing to build up. Remove those 10 games and he has 6 G/A in 17 games, Martinelli and Trossard have been far more consistent throughout the whole season and are much more complete players. Rashford benefits from a system that is completely built around him, he's the only outlet in that team and it shows considering they only have 1 player with more than 5 league goals (only 1 Man United player has outscored Granit Xhaka this season). He's having a good season and he's being a lot more clinical than he has in previous seasons but he's not even close to as complete of a player as Trossard or Martinelli. I do think Rashford will contribute more to that United team when they sign a proper striker, but as far as this season is concerned, Trossard and Martinelli have been better.

https://twitter.com/rory_talks_ball/status/1642830261342576640?s=46&t=3CIn_EYN0-Vxl6SdsYrsWg We are so good man… So so so good. Things like this just put it into perspective better, fully believe Arteta is the caliber to hit the 100pts mark at some point.

I was Arteta out, until we signed Tomiyasu on deadline day. The moment we signed Tomiyasu I understood the vision and knew we would win the league within a couple seasons. There Arteta was going out of his way to snap up a CB on deadline day, not our priority position out of the hands of Spurs. It was only after, I realised Tomiyasu could also play RB and as a result Arteta could have his team overload the midfield. Up until that point we had Bellerin and Cedric. Arteta was trying to utilise Xhaka as the LB/CM but it left the right side completely out of whack. It also prevented Tiereny from pushing up when he played. I told my friend that in the next couple seasons Arsenal will win the league, he thought I was crazy. I sat with him for 2 hours explaining Arsenal's tactics and why we would win the league over a year ago. In fact the only thing that worried me about Arteta is going for Lisandro Martinez, if we went for him we would never have gone for Zinchenko. So would Arteta have expected Martinez to play the LB/CM role? No idea, but it worked out for the best.
avatar
Deserves an apology from the majority of Arsenal fans.
avatar
Played a good game, credit to him. Faster than what his stats on Fifa say.
avatar
Great deal for Arsenal. He is, as of today, a better player than Mudryk and Chelsea paid A LOT more for that player. It's a great signing, at least for me.
avatar
64+ def
avatar
Don't tell me that KDB is better than him this season. World class. Pride of Scandinavia.
avatar
Philly?
avatar
How is a coach defining a player’s role “doing him dirty”??? Gio could have changed his mind if he committed himself in training, but he did the opposite. And Gregg was speaking at a closed off conference where his comments were supposed to be off the record, it wasn’t him who leaked anything. The situation will resolve itself. A young player will learn to apply himself consistently and an inexperienced coach will learn how to handle the media and player relations better.
avatar
Probably going to be my first signing in my FC Andorra save
avatar
Even if all the players in his position get injured, southgate will just use maguire there instead. The guy is clueless, maddison has been carrying leicestsr for months
avatar
Lokonga at 6 yes... White at 6, ehhh. Xhaka at 6, never. Azeez at 6 anybody? lol who's down
avatar
Lokonga is more than capable of plaiyng at 6
avatar
First 20 or so games next to Kos, I though we struck gold. May it never happen again…
avatar
Why would Arsenal need another young attacking midfielder??
avatar
Deserved pen upgrade, undeserved wf downgrade, make him 83/90 4sm 4wf How hard can it really be
avatar
Saka is so vital to our attack though, especially when linking up with Odegaard down the right. Putting him at left back would blunt our attack so much
avatar
Yeah, at Arsenal he'll hold down that LW spot and sometimes play RW if Saka needs rotated while Martinelli plays LW. Homegrown too. It's all perfect, but I'm not sure if Arsenal are okay with him being 27 in the summer. He'll also ask a lot of wages probably. I'd give him 200k pounds/week, same as Partey. Anything over 250k and I wouldn't bother.
avatar
would like to see him back at arsenal some day
avatar
One of the smartest defenders in the Premier League, seriously. Right up there with VVD and them, not exaggerating. Reads the game exceptionally well.
avatar
No wonder you're lashing out at other clubs lmao. You're probably stressed and depressed. Stay happy.
avatar
All our average players are leaving or their contracts are expiring. Arsenal do have the resources to compete bro don't be deluded we had better resources than liverpool difference is they had wc recruitment and an actual wc manager. United spend the same as city and their a mess so your resource comment has no real substance because utd aren't competing. Our whole team is young bro in 5 years they will hit their prime and then we can judge
avatar
This man is actually most likely going to finish the season under 80 rated. Criminal.
avatar
give Pepe a go and rest some players before NLD
avatar
75/82 He has always been disrespected here even though he hasn't had any sequences of games since forever.
avatar
My man Laca left once Nketiah scored 2 against Chelsea. No need to keep him anymore but I still respect what he's done for the club.
avatar
He even picked Reiss Nelson quite often back then, maybe Arteta will give him a chance too next season.
avatar
Biggest defensive presence, I think Tomi is the best out-and-out defender
avatar
Deserves a strength upgrade. One thing that's impressed me a lot is his ability to hold off defenders when dropping off. Imo the reason for his struggles at times during buildup before wasn't due to ability on the ball (I personally really like his touch and technique), but he didn't use his body as well as he could. Still not perfect, but def improved. 59 just seems awfully low.
avatar
would be great for arsenal. He's good for link up and a good finisher. Decent
avatar
Would fit Arsenal very well
avatar
He's always been one of my favorite players. Back when he was a superstar-in-the-making, he was a joy to watch. I modeled my game after him, as I too was a pacey right-back. Yes, positioning was suspect, but he got the job done and did it well. His injury really threw him off course, and ultimately, it was right for both Arsenal and Bellerin to part ways. The vitriol was always unnecessary, but he didn't seem to be the player he once was and it was time to move on. Now, he's found a new life at Betis, which makes me so happy as he deserves the praise. His determination and willingness to adapt is what enabled this revival, and I think his story should be talked about more as he's surprisingly doing really well. He's always been a top class person, and remains one of my footballing idols for his off-the-pitch contributions to the world. I think he's found his new home, and, while I'll miss him terribly, think he should be sold this summer. I wouldn't hate resigning him, but for a 15m-25m offer, I can't imagine us refusing to sell. I wish him the best as he embarks on a new chapter in his career, and hope he is successful and happy at Betis.
avatar
Old heads (e.g. roy keane) love to criticize players having ventures off the pitch like fashion but I love players who live their lives, not football-only monkey brains. Who cares if they could have been better at football if they focused on it more. I know Bellerin's main setback has been injuries i'm more talking about how players off-pitch exploits are talked about so negatively in general, and how much people love pundits making snarky comments about hair gel or whatever.
