Giggs is also an abuser

She was the evidence. Got impregnated by him and visited him while they were supposed to be going to court (They shouldn't off been in contact) making it a miss trial, the evidence couldn't be submitted anyway, But she also withdrew all other evidence and the case itself, having become engaged to him also during this time as well. Thats what happend p much bro, it was shit show. She essentially traded abuse to become a WAG and be set for life via Mason promising her a future (ofc he would, his career would be gone if she went through with it ...) All in all it's an amalgamation of glorified toxic relationships, influencer lifestyles and a privileged lad that can't take no for an answer.

Fr, he's literally Gavi with less passing skills, a more athletical profile (much better jumping for example) and a better carrier of the ball

a bit slow and not that agile. until Alonso did his miracle he was only an above average Bundesliga player with a mistake in him more often than not. I'd rather give the minutes to the younger CBs we have on the books.
avatar
I don't mind Casadei getting some minutes, though it's probably more beneficial to him to leave on loan to get some serious minutes instead of warming our bench and also if we're serious about top-4 a prem-proven player in his prime would surely be a more beneficial option for us.

Mas o caso do Matheus Nunes é totalmente diferente do Otavio , Liedson , Dyego Souza e outros ..
avatar
In possession he's a 6. Drop deep in buildup, maybe break through the pressing, and while he's at it he has the pace to carry the ball into the final third. I don't see him as much of a threat in the final third, so box to box isn't really accurate. When the opponent has the ball, he's an aggressive defender who likes to press. So overall I'd say a mix between Thiago and Kante. Perfect as a playmaking part of a double pivot. He's not quite as perfect for the single pivot or the 8 role in a 433, but he is still an almost complete midfielder.

not a good coach, quality talent identification though. I wish he'd join the club in a sporting position capacity and work full time to identify talent and to convince them to join Chelsea. can't possibly be worse than the current co SDs who are obsessed with Brazilian teenagers.
avatar
yeah Maresca looks like a nice guy who’s charming Arteta looks like a plastic robot and he gives weird vibes, like vibes that would scare off women
avatar
I don't fully agree that this wastes RJ. Cucurella has a history of playing LCB so there's no reason why they couldn't alternate who pushes forward/inverts. Plus with Nkunku and Palmer capable of playing in multiple zones there's a lot of fluid rotation patterns possible.
avatar
Until proven otherwise, Reece James doesn't have the fitness to play as a FB anymore, especially an attacking one going forward all the time and coming back. and no one said anything about an out and out CB. he'd be the RCB in a back-3 with the license to roam into the midfield. I get that this is a different environment with different players, but Caicedo playing higher up makes sense to me. with a double pivot behind him and 3 defenders behind the duo, we won't need him to be as athletic as Kante. Kante was literally part of a double pivot and was playing two roles at once, presser in the final 3rd and DM in a double pivot, Caicedo will have to play one role at a time because when he gets forward either Cucurella or Reece will fill in for him in the midfield.

Should have been bought last summer instead sanchez and petro

Enzo isnt great in that position he’s better as a full-time deep-lying playmaker imo bc by far his best attribute is long range passing and vision, he sucks at long shots and finishing, wont offer any goals as an attacking mid
avatar
god I miss Azpi what a warrior he was for us, he fought for every fan tooth and nail, the heart and determination of that man is incredible one of the least-naturally-gifted footballers ive ever seen play at that level and what he accomplished is just amazing
avatar
I could see him go to man u. That front 3 of Hojlund, Kvara and Garnacho would be very nice
avatar
That is something he struggled with at Leicester

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester when Gallagher is eventually (sadly) sold.
avatar
Tbf he has had an opportunity to build his squad? Spent 90 odd on Antony, 60 on Casemiro, 40 (?) on Onana. He's not always had everyone available with injuries, particularly this season, but he's signed a new XI worth at least. And yes he's won the two domestic cups but for Man Utd, the PL and UEFA competitions are far more important and they've fell way too short, particularly this season. Plus I'd say he hasn't introduced a playing style, they're impossible to identify, because they don't play a specific way which by now you'd hope they have something recognisable
avatar
I rate Julian but he plays more like a CF/CAM than a pure ST. We have enough creativity and chance making in our midfield so I'd rather we have a goal scoring machine up top.

Nah, Maresca has no aura or reputation, no way players are gonna listen and respect him, he is not brilliant ex player like xabi or zidane, he is not connected to our club like arteta with arsenal, he has little experience and achievements as a manager. Jackson would more likely listen to Astrid Wett, than this guy. Bad, bad hire

That's fair. Chelsea will go into the tournament as favorites. And will be able to play the kids in the group stages which will boost squad morale. Also, it's much more fun seeing your club play twice a week

I dont get why liverpool fans are so worked up all the time lol. You finished 3rd ffs, you should worry about your club since Klopp left.

Admin, could you make a feature to be able to bulk delete created/customised player ratings? I’ve made lots of player ratings over the years but now when it comes to creating squads, I’ve got far too many versions of players to choose from and it’s difficult to navigate through.

Unlike the others Arteta at least has some hair to hold onto. Looks a comfortable winner 🤤🤤

god no. at his best when he was on the up he was a failure in front of goal. he's gonna be on huge wages and is probably a worse #9 than Jackson who had a promising debut season.

Simple fix just make cucurella the manager 💯
avatar
I think there has to be a balance. There's no point keeping Poch if you're going to sign players he doesn't want. On the other hand, you can't just sign players that are only coming because of Poch or because they fill a specific role in the system. We should be signing players that Poch wants and are good players irrespective of the manager.

Was thinking about his player comp and what he could be in the future. My mind kept going to a slightly improved version of Barella. Someone who is an important source of ball-winning; chance-creation; press-resistance and sometimes genuine match winning moments, Im thinking anything between 88-90 in his prime. Thoughts?
