I think he’ll play RB most of the time, maybe CB in a 3 if the rumours of us wanting Raum, Sosa or Kostic are true.

He looks well rounded , I think he could be an important and probably the most important signing of our window as he can fill in at RB, CB and CDM. Probably why Ten Hag is so keen on him. He doesn’t really have much of a weakness.

This is the exact type of player where some stupid big club overpays a shitload for him and then he flops. Spends some years on the bench then gets sold cheaply to a mid table club and starts scoring again. Then gets another overpriced move to a big club and then flops again. Then finally goes back to some mickey mouse league like MLS, Turkish or Portuguese league and retires there.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tuanzebe stayed for one more season until his contract runs out in 2023 and he can leave on a free transfer. He would be good as 4th choice, but I am not sure if he wants to return only to sit on the bench or not even be in the squad every week. He might just want to go somewhere and play week in and week out. He has had massive injury-issues over his entire career, so a fresh start somewhere might be optimal for him. I obviously want Jones gone too, but I don't see him leaving. He is on a reported wage of around £100k and he will never earn that money anywhere again. I doubt another PL club will be in for him, he will have to restart in the Championship most likely. If he has some professional pride and wants to actually play football, he should leave this summer, but I highly doubt he will. As for a new CB, I would like that too, but I feel like it is unrealistic for us to have 4 starting caliber CB's at our disposal. Especially when we are not in the CL. I think we will give Varane, Maguire and Lindelöf another try and look for upgrades next summer. That is just my educated guess. None of them will leave this season which makes it hard to bring someone in.
