Or someone who is 10cm shorter, who may have a greater ability to clear the ball with his head or may win in an arm wrestle. Remember ability doesn’t equal opportunity. If the ball glides low enough for Bennacer to head it, he’ll showcase his ability. If its in the air, say 18cm too tall for Bennacer, it’s Pepelu’s playground. I’m not negating Bennacer’s ability, i’m simply explaining that Pepelu’s advantage in height makes him a more appealing physical target for Milan, not to say he’d outperform Bennacer.
