You’re genuinely not that far off…what I took away from the 2 seasons previous to last year especially, is that you’re never as brilliant as you think or by the same token, when things are bad you’re never too far away from getting it right again either…after we beat Lazio in the Stadio Olimpico and turned the league around under Lennon pre lockdown I thought we were flying it…then one of the worst seasons in the history of the club unfolded. Never thought Lennon was the best coach, but didn’t envisage it going that far south either. With the exception of having a very strong financial state as a club, we were arguably in a far worse state this time last season than you are now, when it comes to squad, management, board structure, transfers etc. I would be quoted somewhere on here as saying I believed we were looking at a 4/5 year rebuild. Now don’t get me wrong, what Ange did this season was second to none, don’t think I’ve ever seen a faster, more effective rebuild. By right that was a 2 year job minimum even with a top coach, but I genuinely believe we’ve stumbled across one of the top 10-15 managers in world football. Don’t say that lightly, I think he’ll go on from Celtic to prove it in years to come. Rodgers wouldn’t lace his shoes as a coach in my opinion. You’re in decent hands too with GVB. Has a lot of good principles and has a clear philosophy of how the game should be played. Besides the 3-0 in Celtic Park they were all very tight encounters last season. On another day the last 2 league derbies could have gone either way. On paper we’ve strengthened, but it’s the same lads we had last season, minus Rogic, plus Bernabei and Siegrist. CCV and Jota shows huge ambition and belief in the manager from the club. You’d be almost sure they’ll be much better again this season, but one or two signings that hit the ground running for Rangers and it’ll be a right battle again. UCL qualification could change the situation completely from your perspective.

contracts are what i’m worried about. Kent, Morelos and Aribo all entering their final year is a big worry. Can’t believe we’re coming up to July without a single first team signing yet. Squad needs freshened up majorly

Minimum pace stats for Forrest should be 82, 84. Upgrade Hatate’s stats but downgrade his finishing (??) and don’t touch stats like agility which needs drastic upgrades. Acceleration, pace, stamina need to be upgraded. Kyogo…speechless…sacking offence…83 stamina, 74 shot power, 76 finishing…come off the stage! He’s now a better winger in game than striker! Says it all about this editor. Scales…random 3 point stamina downgrade when he needs a big upgrade! Even elements of Soro and McCarthy’s downgrade are senseless and a bit harsh and that’s saying something! 65 interceptions for Soro is also a joke! 67 Long passing for McCarthy…one of the only things he’s still decent at… Overall, just completely senseless! Screams of someone who hasn’t seen us play once in his life!
