Thats just not true. Portuguese football is worse in terms of technique compared to eredivisie but way more demanding physically. Small teams Park the bus and hit you on the counter attack like savage dogs constantly, the reason he is beeing limited offensively is because in eridivisie he could get away with roaming forward as an 8 and the opponent would do very little to threaten you. He has to be more cointained here so using him as a 10 makes more sence (and he isnt) he needs to have 2 midfielders behind him so we have security and give him the ability to ream freely and do his thing
