Labeled as one of the worst AC Milan acquisitions, Francesco Acerbi had to continue his career at Genoa and then Sassuolo.
During his time there, the center-back fought and beat cancer. He returned to the field as a different man and earned a move to Lazio.
At the age of 35, he was brought to Inter to fill in for Stefan De Vrij and be an additional option in the rotation.
Not only did he secure a regular place in the starting XI, but it's strange to say that he is probably one of the best defenders in the world right now.
Haaland experienced his defending firsthand, and it seemed like Acerbi kept him well under his pocket.
Fear of Haaland? “After beating cancer, I learned to live without fear”. This is what he said before the game!
He was ridiculed at Milan, triumphed over cancer, came back stronger, and almost won the Champions League with Inter as the leader of their defense.
An absolute inspiration, someone we can look up to as an example...

With a lot of difficulty really. The game is buggy honestly. You can have a player who is a prospect and play him every three games and then he will start insisting that he needs more games. He will be a 45 rated player ad demand game time. It's actually annoying when your crucial players will come to you after playing 15 straight games and after the 15th game, they will be come to you saying they need more play time if they are substituted. It's quite frustrating and annoying because once they become unhappy, their potential drops. So I'm still trying to balance it out myself. Honestly I pick my starting 11 and play them only while everyone else complains. Because it does get very annoying after a while.
