As good or better than Van Dijk, Maguire, Ramos, Van de Ven, Akanji Rudiger, Saliba. He’s in my opinion better (debatable) than those THIS season at heading the ball away. Honestly wouldn’t say the league is a lot better now tbh. Most teams didn’t get better, only Juve got worse making the others look better. Those dominant Juve teams of the 2010s would still have wiped the floor with these current teams.

Sure, he isn't rapid , but he is not THAT slow. He's quicker , better on the ball and can pick a pass better than Maguire . Maguire sure is better with his head. Problem is they don't work well together. Individually, they are not bad defenders.
