We have an obligation to buy for 4mil, but he was very average for us during his time on loan. So if a club is interested in signing him for around that price, I think we'll consider it. From what I read he seemed interested in a move back to Middlesbrough, but is also happy to stay at the club if that doesn't work out. He only joined in January, so I believe that he can do better for us with a full preseason and under a new a manager. But 4mil is a lot of money for us to spend, particularly on a fullback. So he'll have to be really good to justify that price tag. I think he has potential to go higher in a system that plays a back 5, but I don't think he's good enough defensively to play in a back 4 in the prem. Could maybe play in a top flight like the Bundesliga, for example.
