The way Xabi sets up (3-2-5 in attack) they are used as wide, roaming playmakers. They're always the wide 2 of the front 5 and are given freedom to rotate with Wirtz and the other interior. They never, ever set up as part of the 3-2 in build up. It's why they're always so close to goal. Xabi uses two 6s and the 3 CBs to allow the "wingbacks" to stay further up the pitch. They don't play like traditional wingbacks and if you look at their heat maps (especially Frimpong) you'll see that. From what I've seen out of Chaibi I have no doubt he could fit that role.

THis bloke has been terrible, but from that performance alone, I reckon he'd be world class if he went to either La Liga, where Manchester City's B team currently sit top, or Serie A, who had the likes of Rasmus Hojlund and Sandro Tonali ripping up Serie A only to succumb to nothing in the Prem, so as a Prem player I'd say 74/81, as a Serie A or La Liga player he'd be much closer to 80/87
