Changes need to be made at Old Trafford and fast, with the way things are going we wont even qualify for Europe. Mourinho needs to go. Dont get me wrong I am not one of those people who are blaming everything on him because I know it is not entirely his fault, the players simply arent good enough, and he was given a contract extension yet the board still made no big centre half signing. But the problem lies deeper than just with our centre half issue today again our midfield simply weren't at the races.

What I would like to see happen is mourinho sacked now before January and have a new manager in place quickly so they have the january transfer window to make some minor squad adjustments but obviously there will be no major changes made in january. I would like to see someone young and energetic as manager for now even if it is only until the end of the season and then go after someone else or continue with that manager. I was shocked when Hassenhuttl was appointed at southampton as honestly wouldnt of minded giving him a go at united, Ryan Giggs has also whipped wales into good shape and they are playing good football and getting some good results, why not give managers like these a chance it cant get any worse than whats happening now even if it doesnt get any better. Eddie Howe would be my ideal jose replacement as i think he plays a great brand of attacking possession based football, he seems to be a great man manager, he gets the very best out of the players at his disposal and would bring an identity to united, he reminds me of pep guardiola in ways and feel he could be a great great acquisition for uniteds long term future, you could say that he could end up like david moyes, a good manager at a smaller club but couldnt cut it at manchester united but I dont think that would happen to Eddie Howe. Moyes played a very traditional british style game at everton soaked up pressure by blocking the midfield and playing deep and then playing quick counters with fast wingers who would cross the ball early into big target men such as fellaini to score headers, whereas eddie howe plays more of a quick build up possesion based game where players are trusted to do the right thing, make the right pass and take on their men all the time, a trust which has paid off for howe whose bournemouth are now an established premier league team with some great players. obviously pochettino and zidane are world class managers already but I really cant see why they would even want to come and manage our team, whereas for Eddie Howe it would be a great step in his career, a move to man united for either of zidane or pochettino could be seen as a step down for them(yes I know zidane isnt currently managing anyone)

Anyway thats my take on things leave comments on what you think needs to happen at manchester united with regards to transfers, managerial channges and anything at all really.
