Jota speaks english (and even if he didn't... He has Fabinho, Thiago, Alisson and Firmino speaking portuguese) and is in the Premier League for quite some time now. He had lots of chances with our starting team too. In this only game he played with our 2nd team he wasn't that good... He managed to score but he was invisible a lot too. Minamino performance with our starting XI was really good. Not saying that Minamino is better than Jota obviously, just saying that we are not judging him in a fair way... That was his first bad game of the season and all of sudden he is a bad player? Jones had similar bad games this season and no one talks about, Origi has been abysmal and no one talks about it, Milner had our worse passing accuracy on the team twice in a row and no one talks about it (And he's the one Minamino plays with, not the likes of Thiago, Mane and Salah). The man just scored a screamer a month ago in a MOTM performance, against Ajax he did more in 30min in every aspect of the game than Firmino in the entire game (no disrespect to Firmino) and all of sudden he is not good enough to be a rotation option? He is here since January, dude. Yeah, it would be nice to see him becoming stronger but it's not like he is playing bad. Why nooo oooone is talking about Origiiii? Minamino plays the Firmino role, that's one that needs a level of physicality, and right now he doesn't have it. The players who get minutes can all handle the themselves on the pitch, Mané and Salah are exactly the same height as Minamino, yet Taki is not close to as strong, or looking like he's spent much time on the resistance weights in the gym like they do. LFC is a physical side, the pressing, the tackling required from forward players, and if someone is too slight they are going to be less effective, then find it even more difficult to find game time. Jota comes in, he's only an inch taller but was already adjusted to life in this kind of team, a marriage of skill, ability and physicality. Minamino has skill and ability it's not in doubt, but if he doesn't like doing weights then he will play and score less, it's up to him.

I don’t understand why a lot people want his rating and potential to be downgraded, and it seems like a lot of y’all have given up on him. He’s been injured all season and hasn’t gotten a chance to prove himself for Lille. Until then, his rating and potential has to be the way it is. Tim Weah is still a great talent, and proved it in the u20 World Cup where he got 2 goals and 2 assists in 5 games. Once he’s 100% healthy at the start of the new Ligue 1 season, I think he’s gonna work hard to start alongside Osimhen in that 4-4-2 formation Lille likes to play with. People here are acting like he’s 28 when he’s only 20.
