Honcho Crunchwrap

So.... how are we doing under this supposedly world-class manager? I mean I was mobbed for saying that he isn't doing any better than the Rangnick but here we are....
avatar
Not realistic at all, plus Gyokeres had 1 good season in his life at decent level and they are asking like 60m for him
avatar
Gyokeres and Vlahovic seem unrealistic, Nico Williams won't join us, he'll have the likes of Madrid/Barca/City after him, Eze would be great but probably 60m as he's just signed a contract (Levy won't pay), Palhinha is way too much money for a player of that age with mediocre ball playing ability, Toney and Hiroki are the only ones that might happen. Sorry to be negative just no point getting your hopes up lol.
avatar
Yeah this was an L post
avatar
Just seen a ridiculous take on the Liverpool page, where someone said if they took 4 of their draws and their loss to Spurs and made them wins, they'd have won the league "Did you know if we won a load of games we didn't and maybe deserved to, we would have more points", like, what? 😂 Btw tho guys if we beat Villa and Fulham twice instead and West Ham in December, we'd have walked the league
avatar
Idk what the no guarantee talk is with Kai. He delivered when it was crunch time. He’s a major reason on why we took City to the last day.
avatar
He might be the most overrated manager of all time. 23 years and just 6 major trophies?? 1-3 in Champions League finals and only 3 league titles?? And this is one of the all time greats?
avatar
My first reaction is always to roll my eyes when I see Alexis, Ozil or Fabregas doing stuff like this, but it’s easy to forget that they spent a significant portion of their careers here and that’s always going to mean something to them. Especially at a club that has always had very close connections with the supporters.
avatar
What was everyone's opinion on Martinelli's RW shift yest? Not to convert him to RW but in general just his overall gameplay. I felt he was bright throughout, showed good energy against a great defensive set-up. If Havertz, ESR or even Martinelli had converted their chances it would be spoken about differently I feel.
avatar
Will miss ‘Neny tho lowkey
avatar
Didn’t post anything yesterday because honestly, it’s hard to accept coming this far again with nothing to show for it other than stats. We go again next season but part of me actually hopes Man City doesn’t get banned because we need to beat them for the title and for it to be close again- not like when Liverpool won it in the Covid season and Man City had already given up early. Then City can get kicked out the league for the 25/26 season and Pep will take another break from management lol. I’m deflated now but this has been a 9/10 season as far as I’m concerned and hopefully we will make it a 10/10 season next season.
avatar
London is red. Havertz was unlocked. Caicedo is not even in the same conversation as Rice who will soon overtake Rodri. Saliba is the best CB in the league with VVD. Unless you’re a City fan, Arteta is better than your manager. Certainly better than that chubby Aussie or the Dutch Poundland Pep. The rest are cap.
avatar
Didn’t we wipe the table last year of London clubs and didn’t lose to any of the “top 6” teams this year. So don’t see how London isnt red, at least atm
avatar
👍
avatar
“Havertz was unlocked” is a fact. “Your manager < Arteta” is mostly true. “London is red” is and always will be a fact. “Saliba is the best CB” definitely can be debated. That means the first letter of each line actually spells out TROPES which means a recurring theme or motif- for example, every season Man United are shite.
avatar
84/85, arsenal’s most underrated player
avatar
*possibly* another CM/CDM lol it's the absolute priority mate
avatar
Martinelli looked more fluid at RW v Everton. Was able to get behind and look more dangerous with cut backs. Suspect you’d see the same from Saka at LW - don’t know why we haven’t seen it more, even interchanging mid game would be cool to see
avatar
Arsenal 5 points clear in February but lose the league by 5 points = Biggest bottle job in history Liverpool 5 points clear in February but lose the league by 9 points= *Crickets*
avatar
Exactly if we would've won the Villa game we would be champions now but unfortunately we didn't. We lost the league by small margins and mistakes. Hopefully we push on.
avatar
Not buying these City are unstoppable, City are cheaters, expecting other clubs to do a favour, etc. We go big or go home, I'd love us to finish this City team at their peak, that way we'll only go up. Raise the standard guys, the team did well and props to all the players but we need to do better next season. COYG.

My only and last thread for this season. I just want to break down what I witnessed last night. - Not the best performance itw but we really should have scored more. Rice scuffed his shot and then you had both Havertz and ESR hitting the woodwork. - Another good game by Kai. Not unfazed by Brainthwaite who imo had a MOTM performance. Kept his head down and scored the winning goal. - Martinelli looked very lively down the RW. Worked his socks off. Fair play. - Raya had a great game again despite conceding. He caught a freaking curler from DCL with his both hands lol. - Clearly White doesn't have the legs to sustain his stamina for 90 mins and he had few off games in the run-ins including this. That's where Timber comes in. Really good cameo. Timber x Saka is something I'm curious about. - Partey should not be here next season. Ever since he came back we've been conceding big chances. - Odegaard is so frustrating. He had a couple good opportunities to shoot but he decided either wait or use his left instead. - If only City didn't score early, I bet the celebration for the goals would've been louder. It is what it is I guess.
avatar
I know it was ages ago but I’ve never understood the people saying we played for a draw against city. We played the same way that Real Madrid, spurs and wolves did when they beat city we just don’t have players that are great on the transition. We did get into some really good positions but didn’t take advantage of them

https://s3a.sofifa.net/5eb9c9f6b3a07dcb14be1331afab106d4a7d25e1.jpg This guy managed to turn around the views we had about him. Actually it's very rare for a owner to win back the fans once he loses them, I believe in him and this project.
avatar
twolves frontcourt is disgusting 😭😭
avatar
Disagree about Jorginho.
avatar
all this bullshit to end up with not even conference league....
avatar
You forgot the 👑
avatar
With the end of the season it's common sense that our most urgent target and priority should be a midfielder, right? We desperately need a starter to play with Rice and Odegaard.
avatar
it wasnt even a bottle brother we have dropped five points in the past five months lmao theyre just unstoppable
avatar
Really don’t see how we’re supposed to compete next season after the departure of our Egyptian King 😔
avatar
Just got back from Cannes Film Festival today, what a beautiful and classy place
avatar
Knew I forgot someone!
avatar
Elneny and Okonkwo are confirmed to be leaving, that's all I've seen so far.
avatar
Also, other then Cedric Soares has anyone been confirmed that they are leaving?
avatar
Due to the amount of LBs or more so players who can play as LBs, a CM and ST transfers would be more important. That would cost a lot of money while I cannot possibly see Davies not costing us a forture.
avatar
Dude I dislike Arsenal, but even I am in distraught! I feel sorry for all arsenal fans who deserved 2 league titles but got none! Furthermore I am not sure if Arsenal is going to be able to keep in this form for next year/years... but hey, lets see!
avatar
say hi to Baguette from us
avatar
Deauville and Cabourg are beautiful cities. Enjoying my time in France rn.
avatar
I used to post here like 10yrs ago, and Pjanic is still here and still a nobcheese? 😆
avatar
You've been through it all mate, cheers. Hope we don't have to wait more than 1 more year. Are you in general interested/excited about potential cup success next season?
avatar
Been supporting since 1996 but Arsenal been on the backburner since the covid seasons. Phone switched off from 4-6 today. Glad it's this way now as I would have otherwise felt crushing disappointment.
avatar
They pretend to accept that, unless they're crazy nobody would accept that their team hasn't won anything in 4 years with a squad like that.
avatar
Three reasons imo: 1. A deeper squad so that key players can rest. It's quite clear that Arteta doesn't trust Smith-Rowe, Vieira, Nelson, Nketiah etc. That should imo be Arsenal's main objective, to improve the squad. Can't trust Odegaard, Saka & Rice to stay injury free all season. 2. Gain more experience. This is still a young team, there's few winners in this team. Man City have that winning culture and a manager who's been in this situation multiple times. 3. Arsenal fans may not like this, but I think they need a clinical striker who can get them 20-30 league goals. Man City set the bar so high and got Haaland who if fit for a full season scores 30+ league goals. It's good to spread the goals between mids/wingers/strikers, but the elite strikers can turn difficult games into relatively easy ones by putting away the chances
avatar
Ok serious question what do you think you’re lacking to beat City . From my perspective it doesn’t seem to be investments nor mentality nor injuries and bad luck you just seems like a bit worse than City like you’re doing everything right but they are still marginally better than yours
avatar
Your washed brev
avatar
im sorry but i cant take you seriously after i saw you and your plastic clubs fans celebrating a 2-0 loss a couple days ago
avatar
I know it’s all about Foden right now as it should be, but Bernardo with 2 casual assists in what could be his final league game for us. Gonna miss that little man ❤️
avatar
Hopefully ffp will put this oil club down once and for all
avatar
Fuck this fake ass club
avatar
115 charges win again

I'll gladly rip this up into much smaller pieces later on. I'm a man of my word.
avatar
Guys, it'd been a wonderful season, we won our matches, they won their matches, unlucky mistakes along the way but we dragged it to the final day of the season. Could've been better but there's nothing we can do, 1 points less than bayer leverkusen and yet can't win the league, money do really buy you trophies... Anyhow COYG!
avatar
Thanks guys for a great season here. Always nice to load the page and chat with you all. Exciting season finished but more of it will start in a bit. I'm proud of the boys and proud of us. Keep ya head up Gooners!
avatar
Pushed treble winning City all the way to the very last game Bravo Arsenal, onwards and upwards 👏
