As a Newcastle supporter, I too struggle with the current ownership. But you know what? I hated the old owner, too. He was such an ass. Ran sweatshops. Bilked the club. If you're looking for 100% purity, I don't think you'll find it in professional football. I mean, you're going to watch the World Cup, right? FIFA is completely corrupt, as is Qatar. I actually really like the Newcastle kits! We can agree to disagree on that kind of thing! I choose to support the club, and put up with its owners. But no judgment. It's feels GOOD to have clubs to root against, too.

I get that Saudi Arabia's human rights abuses are scandalous. I would never defend them, MBS, or the PIF. I don't know anything about Villa's ownership. Could some of them be sweatshop owners? Friends of corrupt governments? It is entirely acceptable for some fans to drop their team because their owners are evil. If the PIF try to turn the club into a commercial for the Saudi royal family, there IS a limit to my support. I appreciate your perspective.

As far as the club ownership Amanda Stavely is some rich British socialite who has some crazy horrible disease. Her story is actually tragic, I think she just wants to leave behind a legacy and loves football and her husband happens to be Arab so they had connections to the PIF. So no..I don't find them gross. They aren't even spending like crazy, they are making smart sensible signings.
